  • Escape to our cozy lakeside cottage on Rice Lake, about 1.5 hrs from Toronto. Soak in the private hot tub under winter stars, curl up by the indoor fireplace with a partial lake view, and play pool in the sunroom after dinner. Cook in the full kitchen or on the BBQ, and sleep 6 comfortably in 2 king beds and 2 twin beds. Fenced backyard looking out over farmland, a bonfire spot, and lake access right out front: swimming and boating in summer, frozen-lake walks in winter (only when the ice is safe).

    Weekly and monthly stays welcome, with 2 work desks and office chairs. Wi-Fi is about 10 Mbps, fine for email and browsing, but video calls and HD streaming may be slow.

    Over 2 years of hosting more than 300 guests around Rice Lake. Looking forward to hosting you!

Cottage and lot was a very good size for 5 grown women celebrating a Bride to Be. We all enjoyed ourselves and our stay immensely, thanks for the memories ❤️

Cozy cottage, with big backyard, and close to neighbours. Access to the lake is nearby. The host was very responsive when we had questions or concerns and filled requests immediately.Hot tub, yes, but heated pool, no. At the time of our stay, the inside bathtub was not accessible due to septic tank concerns. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Accommodating

The property was so welcoming, very clean, organized and went beyond the amenities that we expected. The owner quickly replied to any questions I had. We were all very pleased. It was exactly what we were looking for in a siblings weekend get away.

Beautiful Fall Trip

Very nice place right across the street from the water front. We went to take in the local ATV trails in the fall. Place was well stocked with just about anything you could need. Thanks

Réponse rapide, manque d’eau

Propriétaire à l’écoute et très actif pour répondre, par contre, lors de notre arrivée nous avons été déçu. Le spa n’était pas rempli, l’eau dans le chalet ne fonctionnait pas. Ça nous a coupé les vacances.
