KING Bed in a Beautiful Cottage Oasis

This wonderful and recently renovated cottage is a STEAL of a deal. With everything you could want when you think of Port Dover. Only a 7 minute walk to all your dining, entertainment and desserts. 12 minute walk to the BEACH. Around the corner you have a park with a soccer field. At the cottage you have your peace and quite with nature all around you. Hiking trails for those that want to take in the beautiful greenery all around.
In the cottage, you enter a beautiful open, bright, updated kitchen. Large living/family room with mounted on the wall Fire T.V allowing for streaming apps on our FAST Wifi. Enter the tranquil large bedroom, sleep on a cloud with the memory roam mattress on a KING SIZE bed! The bedroom also has a large closet and a desk, for those looking to do some work (yes, we thought of you too). Enter the fabulous bathroom, fully renovated with washer dryer access! When looking to getaway from the everyday work life, there is no better place then this beautiful, relaxing and tranquil cottage.

Great stay in Port Dover!

Very cute place to stay when you’re in Port Dover. It was about a 10 minute walk from the main area in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking on the street and the host was very responsive. Only feedback I have is that the place could’ve been cleaned in the kitchen better! For people wanting to stay here, realize that there are people living upstairs so you may hear sounds fron time to time. Overall, recommend staying here if you ever visit Port Dover!

Lovely cottage getaway

Walking distance to all local amenities and very close to bike trail. The host is friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay in this chic little cottage.

Cute, Comfortable, and Great Location

We enjoyed our stay, it was walkable to the downtown restaurants, but also far enough away to enjoy some quiet. It is in a neighborhood, neighbors very friendly, and a nice park a block away, including bike trails. Would love to see the back patio area get a little TLC, but it was a lovely rental. We would stay here again.

Location was very convenient, tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it was still within walking distance to the beach area and shops. Living room was comfortable for watching television and just relaxing. Bedroom was likewise comfy, if not a little musty smelling. Sheets were clean, but someone went a bit overboard with the fabric softener scent (I have allergies so heavily scented linens are not my thing - gave me a headache). I was a little disappointed at no place to enjoy the outside - would have loved to enjoy my early morning coffee on the porch but no chairs. Back deck needed tidying up and patio table was very dirty. BBQ did not work and could also use a cleaning. Overall the indoor space was tidy and clean, and had all the necessary amenities (dishes, cutlery, tea, coffee, condiments in the fridge, etc). Host was very responsive when I had to contact him, replying to me very quickly and solving minor issues. Location and price worked for us for a last minute getaway. I think our next visit to Port Dover we'd go a little more upscale.

Anniversary Weekend Nreakway

Very clean and nicely updated space. Main Street and beach within walking distance. Very close to a great Trail for walking or riding. Quiet neighbourhood and perfect spot for our stay.

Not another stay-cation

This bright cottage that delivered on it's promise of cleanliness, amenities and location to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch reading the books from the cottage book shelf and short drives to pick up farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. Would recommend for a short get-away.

All your needs met!

Loved the place. The listing exceeded my expectations. I often bring some things with me because I'm never quite sure if they would have what I need. I like to cook (and go out) and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need what I brought. The "cottage" is a 1st class accommodation. And I too had a package of bakery goodies in the fridge. The reading nook was a great place to chill. Within easy walking distance of downtown.

The place was wonderful and location was perfect for our needs.

The property was very clean and well maintained and we were able to meet the owners and they were so helpful and accommodating! They even left us a welcome treat of baked goodies from a local Bakery that was delicious. We would definitely come back!!!!

Overall a great stay in Port Dover

We had a wonderful family vacation in Port Dover. Overall, the space was clean and very comfortable, a nicely remodelled older home with some additional minor TLC needed by the owner. The house was pretty much fully stocked with everything we needed. Its about a 15 min walk to Port Dover beach, situated on a quiet dead-end street right off of the main road that leads to the beach. It was the perfect distance for a nice stroll through the strip of shops, cafes and restaurants. We filled our days with beach fun, swimming in the lake, mini golf, dinners out and park visits. Our daughter had a blast and we left feeling relaxed. We will definitely be back.
