Cozy Home Heart of the Village Near Golf & Colgate

Our cozy home in the Village of Hamilton. The house is conveniently located, an easy walk to all local attractions: • ¼ mile from Hamilton Village Center • ¼ mile from Seven Oaks Golf Club • ½ mile to Colgate University campus and sporting events. The home feels cozy, yet the rooms are all quite spacious. It is a perfect for a group of alumni, parents attending sporting events, or wedding attendees or families visiting Hamilton/Colgate. The house can sleep up to 12 people comfortably. In addition to the indoor space, there is a wonderful deck to enjoy and a large backyard as well; perfect for a party tent.

Perfect location for Colgate

We loved the house for the entire family for Colgate Graduation! It was perfect for a large group and is located in the perfect spot. Refreshed inside (pictures do not do it justice) and nice big yard in the center of town. We will be back for alumni events!

Lots of Good!

This home was clean, well stocked and very functional and well located. Owner was very responsive and helpful! We were a bit disappointed the the upstairs AC could not be run without blowing the circuits and even using a hair blower popped the fuse. Also had a problem with a clogged toilet but property manager was quick to fix it. Overall a good place for our group with just a couple of minor glitches. Comfortable beds and furnishings!

Thanksgiving family gathering

We loved this house! We had family from 6 weeks to 87 and it met everyone needs. The house is furnished beautifully, very large kitchen and gathering area. Bedrooms and bathrooms spacious! Very clean, exceeded expectations, owner wonderful to work with!! Great location!

The property was actually much better than the pictures (which were nice already)- very spacious and updated. They paid attention to details and the property manager was super responsive when we had an issue with the hot water. A fluke in that it chose our stay to go bad but we had a new hot water heater in hours! Pretty impressive. Highly recommend!

Short trip to Hamilton

We rented Nick's place for 4 nights to drop our oldest daughter off at Colgate. The place is big, beautiful, and very clean. Lots of space for families and groups, and within walking distance to downtown Hamilton and a quick 5 minutes drive to Colgate. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were all very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely property

We were a family group of 10 adults and we had a great long weekend stay at this lovely property. It has 6 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and 3.5 bathrooms. The property has been recently renovated and it is very clean. The decor is minimalist but very nice (nicer than the pictures show), and it has everything you need for a large group stay. Our one complaint was that we were there during a hot spell and there were window air conditioners in all of the rooms, but the breaker box is inadequate to support all of the ac units at once. The upstairs bedroom units had to be kept at 76 which was a little warm for us so we bought fans for additional circulation. Downstairs could be kept at 74. Also the hot water tank element went on the fritz our first night, but the host was very responsive and had it fixed very quickly. It has a lovely new deck on the back that just needs a BBQ to make it perfect. The location of this home is also perfect, just 2 blocks from the Colgate Inn and the Saturday Farmers' Market. We would happily rent here again.

Great house, great location

Spacious, new, clean house with all the amenities you need for a stay at Colgate. Very close to town and campus. Helpful hosts. Tons of room for gathering and sleeping. Above expectations. Hope to stay here every year.

An Awesome House!

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was spacious and comfortable with lots of big bedrooms, a large living room, and a fantastic deck and backyard. The location was also ideal for exploring the town.
