"This was a really interesting place. It seems like it used to be some type of lodge or bar. It was easy to get to and the beds were comfy. The host was responsive. There’s a cute little fire pit out back which we utilized. The set up of the place was just very unique. Also, the questionnaire is asking me about the pool but there isn’t a pool, so I have to put one star to be able to submit the review. The property didn’t claim there was a pool, so it’s not one star for any other reason then me...

"The host was somewhat attentive, however, the place was simply filthy. We walked in to find pet hair all over the house, the bed wasn't made (unsure also if the sheets were washed and clean), kitchen cabinets were filled with personal items and was a mess (we didn't use any of the host's kitchen items as they didn't look clean), the refrigerator had old items within it (yuk!!!), the main bathroom shower window was fully uncovered, there were two sinks in the main bathroom, however, one only had...

"The host was very responsive and open to feedback during our stay. The home is spacious (I would say probably more ideal for a group slightly smaller than ours - we were 15). The set up is great for separate families with younger kids because they can stay in the attached room with bunk beds so they are close but not too close. The kids loved the pool. We had a little trouble getting the hot tub going but the hosts were very communicative and helped along the way. "

"This cute cottage is on top of a hill, giving a beautiful front view, but also having a secluded fenced-in back patio. It was very clean; the hot tub was in great shape. We found a cute local place to eat called Olde Willow Tree Cafe that is family-owned and served brunch just a couple miles from the cottage. I’d recommend the cottage for a private getaway! "
