"What a unique house! The location was beautiful. But the best part was all the crazy Knick Knacks. Every nook and cranny had some kind of doll or statue or things I had no idea what it was. So many beautiful things from around the world. Half the fun was trying to find them all. The bathrooms all had full stone showers. Not tile, but stone slabs. This was such a fun house to stay in. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have small children, but it’s a must for adults. The kitchen had top of the line...

"Property was maintained beautifully. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very clean and orderly house. House flies kept appearing, however. Lots of books and games to entertain you. Fully equipped kitchen is a plus. Easy access to Thomas and Davis by car, or Thomas by foot path.The furnace fan motor was so loud the floor vibrated. Eventually noise disappeared. Internet router lost connectivity daily. I texted owner; no reply. Router looks old. Hauling out trash at end of stay was not...

"We loved the fireplace, the hot tub, and the comfy beds/linens. We have 7 kids ages 5-16 and this home was affordable and spacious for us. Even though we only stayed a few nights, we utilized the large capacity washer and dryer. Thank you for providing such a cozy lodging opportunity!"

"This place was beautiful the kitchen had everything we needed. I would just suggest a little bit more light or brighter light i could barley see when i was cooking it was too dark (we cooked around 7ish) The grill wasn’t really cleaned when we got there but it worked fine. The environment was beautiful and peaceful. I would definitely come back. If you sleep upstairs I would suggest take a thick blanket or a heater it was really cold upstairs despite bringing the temp up! The hot tub was amazing...

"First and foremost, the condo was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. I loved that it had a little balcony to enjoy my coffee in the morning and to view stars at night. It is in a beautiful setting and only 4 miles from Davis, where you can find places to eat. The location is ideal for visiting many natural areas and Blackwater State Park. It was very quiet the week we were there in early October too."

"We had a great time. The host js a perfect rental host. The entire property had little things to do and future plans. We didnt have enough time to enjoy the entire house. We will be back for the fire pit, picnic table and frisbee golf. We never turned the tv on. "We had a wonderful stay at this Cozy Cabin in Black Bear Resort. The location was fantastic. We loved the woodsy atmosphere, peace and quiet and ability to walk around the grounds. Being so close to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley parks was ideal. The cabin is very clean, the kitchen is perfect and the bed is comfy. We were happy campers. Thank you for a great visit."
