Hall Nature Reserve

I read the reviews for this hotel and because only one appeared negative, I decided to stop here for the evening. The staff were wonderful and very eager to help. They gave me a first floor room and adjacent to an entry door which appeared to be very accommodating on their part. However, this has to be the worst place I have stayed in many years. The hotel appears to be going through a transition from Motel 6 to Hotel Blu. I expected an older room. I did not expect what appeared to be mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom or around the electrical connection to the airconditioning unit. On the surface the room appeared to have been a quick clean up but it probably had not been used/renovated or repaired since the transition had been started. It was 10:30 at night, I had driven all day, and decided that it was okay to just stop for the evening and sleep. I didn't use the shower because it looked disgusting. I am sorry that the staff was so kind but representing such a downtrodden and undesirable place to stay. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Kitchen was great and the breakfast was super.
