Todo was awesome at communicating with us. Even before we arrived, You reached out to let us know there might be a problem with the door. He got someone over to unlock the door for us and we were able to enjoy the beautiful house. It was clean and well-kept. Even though we had a few minor issues, You took care of those and insisted on a partial refund. Thank you! We'll be back!

Following is the message that we sent the host when we left the property 3 days ago and she has still not replied to us. When the battery died on the front door lock, she responded asking me to send a video, but didn't come to replace the batteries. It clearly didn't work. Due to safety and security issues, I couldn't recommend staying here. Also, the price is based on 3.5 bathrooms. We felt that it was overpriced considering there were only 2.5 bathrooms. This is our message to the host the day we left, to which we have not yet received a response:"1047 am May 24...We have left the house which now leaves it in your hands. The locks are still not working as of 11 AM Saturday May 23. There was a problem with ants every day and a wood louse in the kitchen one morning. The sink stops are old and not removed easily.They fall apart when pulled from the drain. The one bedroom window does not open. Your ad says there were 3.5 bathrooms, however there were only 2.5. Because the deck is so far off the ground, we were concerned in case of a fire. We would not be able to get out the back entrance since there are no steps and a 12 foot drop.All closet and room doors need lubrication, as they squeak very badly."

Nice house. Only real complaint I have is that is was very hot in the house with no way to cool it down as it was controlled by the owner, I reached out to the owner telling them it was very hot and asking how to cool it down and they went silent, no response. Disappointing as earlier in the day they were very responsive. I don’t think owners should be able to control the heat/ a/c during renters stay.

We enjoyed the VRBO; it was clean and roomy enough for the family of 7. We loved that they had 3 bathrooms, as it is always nice to have that space. The couch was not as comfortable as our 16-year-old would have liked, but he did well on the 3-night stay. We had questions about the door lock and the TV remote, and the host quickly replied. When we needed confirmation on what to clean on our departure date, the host quickly replied and was very helpful. The VRBO was very close to everything in Halifax. We loved the location. It was family-friendly, and there is a park down the road that children can walk to and play in. There were plenty of pots and pans and dishes for a group of 7. Any issues we had the host was receptive to and replied quickly. A nice place to stay. Room for 2 cars to park. It was fantastic to have the washer and dryer in the VRBO! Would recommend this to others.

From the moment I inquired about the property, the host was prompt, friendly, and informative. They answered all my questions thoroughly, provided detailed information about the property.The house itself was beautifully maintained, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. It was clear that the host genuinely cares about their guests’ experiences, as they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The check-in process was seamless, and they kept in touch to check if we needed anything.Overall, I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a lovely getaway with a host who prioritizes communication and guest satisfaction!
