  • Pintoresca casa de 1930 frente al brazo noroeste de Halifax. Esta es una casa con 2 unidades.
    Encantadora propiedad con una cascada de agua en el lado de la propiedad. Sonido fascinante del agua cuando te estás quedando dormido por la noche.
    Cubierta privada, vistas del brazo, ambiente en abundancia en toda la casa.
    Bañera de hidromasaje para relajarse y descansar después de un largo día de exploración.
    Cruza la calle hacia Chocolate Lake para nadar o relajarte por la tarde.
    A 5 minutos a pie del histórico restaurante Armview que ha estado allí desde los años 50.
    Camina a lo largo del borde de las aguas del brazo noroeste en un sendero que te llevará al club náutico de Armdale.
    El histórico parque Dingle está a 5 minutos en coche o también a poca distancia. Camina por los senderos, haz un picnic en la playa o en áreas verdes, observando el desfile de barcos que pasan.
    Camine hasta la tienda de comestibles o el centro comercial Halifax, donde hay muchas tiendas y un increíble patio de comidas en el nivel inferior.
    Costco, cines, tiendas y muchos restaurantes están a 10 minutos en coche.
    A 5 minutos en coche del corazón del centro de Halifax. Muchas cosas divertidas para ver y hacer en nuestra ciudad.
    Fantástico paseo marítimo a lo largo de la costa de Halifax con muchos restaurantes, bares, pubs, aventuras de navegación, alquiler de motos acuáticas, tours de observación de ballenas, tours de pesca, tiendas.
    Tenemos unos jardines públicos increíbles en el centro de la ciudad, donde hay muchos restaurantes y tiendas para disfrutar.
    En invierno tenemos el Halifax Oval donde puedes alquilar patines mañana, tarde y noche.
    Nuestro valle es famoso por sus numerosos viñedos, mercados agrícolas frescos, fantásticos pubs y restaurantes a solo 30 a 40 minutos en auto.
    Otra visita obligada es nuestra costa sur. Hubbards, Peggys Cove, Chester, Mahone Bay y Lunenburg, que se encuentran a lo largo del borde de las aguas. Todos estos se encuentran a 1 hora en coche.

Wonderful place

We had a great stay. Everything was wonderful and Holly was so helpful. Good location. Be prepared for the traffic circle and the quick turn into the driveway.

Solo Retreat

A perfect location for a little time on my own. I enjoyed the view of the water from the dining room table, the sound of the stream from the bedroom and reading on the settee by the window in the living room. Very peaceful and comfortable.

Nice Place

House was really nice. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Host left some breakfast items which was thoughtful. Location was not too far from downtown Halifax. Beds were comfy and house was well maintained.

Cute and charming! Central location walking distance to mall and the water. Comfy beds and all amenities. Rushing water next to the property drowns out the traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again👌

Lovely decor, great location

The house is adorable and has all modern conveniences. Great location. We loved the rushing waterfall and easy access to walk the shoreline. Unfortunately there were mice in the house, which I know can be very typical for an older home.

Great Cottage

Clean, cute cottage. Location was very convenient, 10 min drive to downtown Halifax. Supermarket and other amenities located very nearby. Cottage was nicely decorated and the location was great. Situated overlooking the ocean, with a small stream/river running along side the property creating a nice ambience. Holly was attentive, checked in after day one to ensure everything was to our liking.

Charming house

Great location near the Northwest Arm and trendy Regatta Point as well as major entry into and out of the city. Loved the adjacent water falls....great for seeping. Home is furnished with an interesting collection of antiques and is split in half into two rental units. Would recommend as value is good for VRBO. Being a retired couple we missed not having TV (news, sports etc) but learned the ins and outs of ROKU.

A really nice find!

Overall the property was fantastic. Lots of space for a bigger group and the host was fantastic. They stocked the property with the essentials, plus more! The driveway was a slight challenge to find and attention to detail for cleanliness could have been a little better but not bad enough to be uncomfortable. A good steam cleaning on some of the sofas and the futon would make a major difference. Regardless, great experience and great value.

We found the property location very convenient for all the amenities and attractions of Halifax. Easy access to highways and lookout points like along Herring Cove while also very easy to get downtown. There is a roundabout nearby that can get busy though. A short distance to a waterfront walking trail was a very nice feature. Although not directly on the water you can see shimmering water through the trees from the dining room or hear a running stream from the back deck. The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable lending to a good night’s sleep. I found communication with the property management was excellent. Any questions or issues we had (e.g. it was getting colder so we requested the window air conditioning units to be removed) were answered and dealt with promptly.

Gorgeous antiques, lovely old house, absolutely charming.

I love old stuff, especially the common old stuff like antique hand mixers, old bottles, and the polished wooden tables and cabinets like my grandfather had. I was deeply impressed that not only did the host appoint this house with antique furniture, they didn't forget to include old-style kitchen utensils and fixtures. T'was a blast from a well-beloved past for me. The location was excellent for our purposes with easy access by car to Halifax in one direction, the main route down the eastern coast in another direction, and the other main road across the island to the west coast where the vineyards are located. I only wished that the firm that represented the host was more voluble about the lovely furnishings -- a few requests for more information were met with silence. It's not that they weren't helpful, because they were very attentive to even the slightest hint of problems, but I just wish they had known more about the furnishings that somebody went to considerable lengths to acquire.

Great place to stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was just as described and Holley made sure to send us updates leading up to the check in and also the checkout procedure. Very simple and straight forward. The location is great for our needs and we will certainly be back. We had 5 people stay there, all very comfortably. The kitchen, sitting and dining area was plenty big to serve us all. The entrance to the driveway is a bit tricky the first time entering. Overall we were very pleased as were our guests.

Charming yet Overpriced

1930's home with character everywhere you look. The sound of the waterfall outside is mesmerizing. Outdoor patio furniture could be updated or replaced. Ceiling fixtures could use a good cleaning as well. Love the fully stalked kitchen. Beds were extremely comfortable. Quiet and charming area.
