"We loved this little cabin! It was so cozy and just 20-30 minutes from anything in town. "

"Charming log cabin inside and out. Spent our mornings and evenings on the wraparound porch enjoying the view. Would definitely stay again!"

"Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had."

"Beautiful home! Very clean with lots of fun antiques. Comfortable chairs for chatting in the living room, new-looking window A/C units in each bedroom, and we loved all of the quilts! Kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Great experience and great hostess!"

"Beautiful location right on the Potomac River."

"Beautifully furnished with everything I needed. Canal towpath was amazing and the highlight of my stay. The last 10-12 steps to entrance were, however, extremely challenging for my aging legs. Oh and the screened porch, where I spent most of my time when not walking the towpath, was my favorite thing about the house. I highly recommend this property for anyone who doesn’t have problems with lots of steps. "

"The cabin is gorgeous, in a nice wooded spot. There is a great amount of space and a kitchen with just about everything you need to cook nice meals. The covered porch has a nice heater and the fire pit has a good clearing where you can relax by the fire and look at the woods and stars. The beds are very comfortable. The hosts are very accommodating and quick to respond. Had an absolute amazing time and will definitely be returning "

"We had a great time at this waterfront cabin, a rural location right on the Potomac River. The cabin is very suitable for two couples, with areas to be together and areas for privacy. "

"Comfortable and right at the C&O trail, so easy to take lovely walks. The house is clean, the kitchen and dining spaces more than adequate, multiple common areas are nice, as are bedrooms. Minor issue in that it seems the visitors before us made the remote for the downstairs tv disappear. Connection via phone, text etc can be spotty unless you're on the houses wifi, which worked well."

"The property provides a peaceful place to escape and have everything you would need. Highly recommended "

"We had such a great time here. It's out of the way, yet convenient to local parks and historical attractions. The accomadations are neat and well-appointed. The hosts were accomadating and responsive to any and all needs. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. "

"What an amazing cabin with so many great amenities. This was just what we needed wish we had more days to stay. Everything from the booking, the listing, communication with host, to the gift basket. Whiskey Acres is definitely worth checking out. Andrew was wonderful in making sure we needed nothing and everything was perfect. If you want a great cabin to stay in with modern amenities this is the place. Thanks again."

"This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do.
