Ocean View House Few Steps from Miramar Beach

Beautiful beach house with an ocean view. One block away (2-3 minute walk) from Miramar beach, one of the best beaches in Half Moon Bay. The house is also a walking distance from other popular beaches like Surfer's beach and Poplar beach; as well as the coastal trail, Pillar Point Harbor, the marina, and many of the best ranked restaurants in the area.

Safe and quiet neighbourhood. No activities allowed in the backyard after 10PM.

The house is fully equipped and includes all essentials. It is made up of:
3 bedrooms (queen or king bed in each room), including one master bedroom with a bathroom.
A living room and a dinning area.
A fully equipped kitchen.
A second bathroom.
A sauna room.
A garage where you can park your car.
A big backyard with a jacuzzi and a BBQ.
A deck with a spectacular ocean view.

You can barrow our two bikes, boogie board, beach chairs, and umbrella during your stay.

TV includes an active Netflix account.

What a lovely home away from home located steps away from the beach in a quiet area. Both the front deck and the living room with reclining sofas are great for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view. The bedroom I used was large with a very comfortable bed with an adjacent bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and both dining areas are nice. The sauna and hot tub are also enjoyable. The backyard and landscaping is well maintained with lots of chairs & tables. Check in is easy and the host excels in communications and is readily available to assist in anyway to ensure your stay is a good one. I will be renting this home again. Miramar beach is close to restaurants and coastal trials & the perfect location to explore the coast.

Great location & communication with host, but the place was very rough around edges and overall dingy. The bathrooms and sheets were clean but it didn't appear that the carpeted bedrooms had been vacuumed. Dirty microwave and dirty utensils in the kitchen drawers. Pock marks and scuffs on the walls in multiple rooms. I expected better accommodations for the price we paid.

Thank you for the relaxing stay. We loved the close access to the beach and the hot tub. The bicycles were wonderful, we took a stroll down to the harbor. The front deck was nice and comfy for star gazingand catching some sun.

House, kitchen, bedrooms, etc. were tastefully decorated. Enjoyed the warmth and ambience of the fireplace. Only disturbing issue was the light in the side yard activating periodically on our last night. It was visible in the master suite and awakened us a couple of times. Found the side garage door opened in the morning when we confirmed it was locked the night before.Otherwise a very nice stay in a prime location.

The location was great! You can enjoy an ocean view that’s a block away from the living room. Comfy recliners and ample seating for dining. Beds were comfortable and it’s nice to have two queens and a king. The house needs some maintenance done in both bathrooms and the backyard. There was supposed to be outside dining but there was no table or chairs which was shown on the listing. It’s listed for six people but the kitchen had limited bowls, wine glasses and no food storage containers. The owner was great at giving us more access to towels when requested. We enjoyed our stay and love the area!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this cute house in Half Moon Bay. It is close to the water and within easy walking distance to the beach. We saw whales from the “trail”!! We enjoyed sitting outside for dinner at the home but fabulous Half Moon Bay restaurants are nearby. The house is very clean. And I received prompt responses to all questions and concerns. We will definitely stay again!

Location can't be beat!

Excellent stay at this house in the perfect location for a friends' relaxing get together. Well-stocked kitchen, generous bedrooms and space for 5 adults. The view from the living room and the deck were awesome. The host was very flexible and communicated promptly. Would for sure rent this house again!

Perfect getaway!

Our family took a weekend vacation in Half Moon Bay, and this house was the perfect place to stay! It was cozy, clean, close to the beach, walking distance to Miramar Beach Restaurant, and had a beautiful view from the living room where you could see the ocean. On both sunny and overcast mornings, the ocean view was beautiful! The house was the perfect size and very comfortable. We were sad when the trip ended because our stay was so wonderful. We definitely would stay here again and recommend booking this house for your next stay!

Weekend Getaway

Enjoyed our stay in Half Moon Bay. The restaurants in that area always impress us - Jettywave Distillery was fantastic, we also enjoyed Ketch Grill, Fattoria E. Mare & La Costanera. Philip is a good host.

Great Home Base

This was our second stay here and it’s the perfect place to use as a home base to explore the coast. We visited Pacifica to the north all the way south to Davenport. The hosts are super responsive and kind, and the house is very comfortable.

Not bad for an older beach house, but not a luxury property

Pros: the location was excellent, and beds were comfy. Loved the little front deck area with ocean view. Cons: Funky plumbing situation - the check in instructions asked guests to dispose of toilet paper in trash can or use very little. Cabinets in kitchen were sticky, most likely from the age of paint as opposed to being dirty. Hot tub on smaller side, only comfortable for 2 - 3 adults.

Cozy property close to the beach.

Very comfortable and cozy property with just a quick walk from the beach. All of the rooms are spacious and welcoming. The kitchen is also spacious and easy to work in. A great location. We look forward to our next visit!
