"This place is awesome. I wish we had stayed longer. We stopped here for the night because it is the half way point for the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The residence was an independent structure with a large window looking out to the sea and the bridge. Sunrise was gorgeous. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, very nice bedroom and new clean kitchen. Everything about the residence was top-notch, including the amenities. The breakfast and dinner that we chose were amazing. Loved this place....

"Lovely small on the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Spacious room with Japanese style beds on raised platform and tatami mat sitting area with table and cushions. In-room amenities included electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, Bose Bluetooth speaker, safe, complimentary water, juice, and beer. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are onsite baths, but we didn’t use them. The hotel is located on a charming street, just a few steps from the water and right near the ferry port....

"私は住之江旅館の立地の良さや古いたたずまい、そしてまだ明るいうちに庭を眺めながら浴室に向かう廊下を歩くのが大好きです。しかし、それはこの宿の魅力の本質ではありません。魅力の本質、それはクールビューティーなおかみさんの人柄です。自然体で決して出しゃばることはありませんが、客の１人ひとりが何を必要としているかに気を配り、それぞれに素早く最高の答えを探して対応してくださいます。目立つことなく、しかし客の為に努力を惜しまない姿勢が素晴らしいです。このおかみさんの宿に泊まらない理由は見当たりません。"

"My daughter and I traveled to Japan for two weeks and stayed here in the middle of a 70K Shimanami Bike trip. I wish so much we'd booked an additional night. Of the seven hotels/ryokans we stayed during our trip, this was heads above all the others. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious and the ryokan was quite peaceful. The staff was wonderful- helpful and attentive. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Japan and visit this area again, I'll return to this lovely property."

"施設は新しくとても綺麗でした。大浴場もとても気持ち良かったです。朝食は地元の名物もメニューに含まれていてとても美味しくいただきました。部屋はシングルルームでしたが狭かったです。快適にスーツケースを広げることはできませんでした。"

"スタッフの方々はとても親切。ホテル自体はかなり老朽化。お風呂の湯質はかなり硬水なので肌があれる。レストランの食事は美味しかった。"

"施設内はとても素晴らしいです。とても清潔に保たれていました。歴史的な日本家屋で畳がありリラックスできました。仕事ができる共有スペースも充実しています。周辺に買い物ができる場所やレストランが少ないです。自転車で行く方は必ず購入してから向かってください。ただし、買えなかった人の為にインスタントの食事が買えるサービスが施設にあります。そう言った細やかな対応が素晴らしい宿でした。"

"As much as I'd like to recommend staying here on your trip to bunny island, I cannot. The host did provide details for self check-in, but the property is in various states of disrepair. The AC is left off during the summer, so when we entered, it was hot and humid. The bathroom was left off as well and had accumulated mold. It smelled atrocious to the point we were pretty sure it would be a hazard to use it. I don't expect to incur any penalties, but the host also had many fee addendums...
