Reserva Natural Nacional de Hafod Elwy

On arrival the staff were not welcoming. The hall and stairways are scruffy with a terrible smell. Room 7 is very in need of refurbishment. There is a terrible smell in the room of drains and stale air. There are dirty marks on the walls. The base of the bed and carpet are old and have soiled marks on. When the taps in the bathroom are turned on, when the toilet is flushed or when having a shower the noise from the pipes is very loud and sounds like a ships funnel. The room was bit vacuumed the entire 6 night stay, sheets not changed the entire 6 night stay. Housekeeping was minimal.

The room was very tired particularly the shower room. Clean and comfortable bed and nice clean towels. Would stay at hotel again.

If you can afford to stay elsewhere do!! Amazing location, great pub. Not a great hotel
