"The Dinney was in a superb location and very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated and had a nice view of the lake. Very peaceful too. "

"People were very pleasant , although the evening staff don't really know much about what can be done in terms of moving people into different rooms. The room was fine king size, with a bit of room. I stayed with a group for a couple of days after and that room was in the eves , and claustrophobically small. Not helped by the fact that it was not possible o open the window and the fan provided merely circulated very warm air around the room . Breakfast was satisfactory. My advice is stay in...

"A really nice quaint old building with countless amounts of wonderful antiques that you can look at throughout the stairwell and hallway the room was adequately appointed beds were very comfortable. Shower over the bath was great. The stuff were very welcoming and friendly. Unlikely to go back again if I need a location stay in the area I’d recommend it 100 hundred percent great value for money. "

"It was close to the city centre necessitating only a short taxi ride for us. It was walkable but would take about 20 minutes rather than the 10 stated. There were lots of stairs in the property ( we were on the second floor) no lift in the property which was a downside with luggage. Overall very clean and comfortable and would stay again."

"Great one night stay to attend a concert at the nearby Halls venue.Hotel is clean and very comfortably modernised to provide top rate accommodation.Beds are massive and breakfast was top notch.Lovely people running the hotel and a beautiful park just opposite.Will come again."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The receptionists were amazing - warm and welcoming and helpful throughout our trip. The bar and waiting staff were also very friendly and efficient. The grounds and the building were beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"All excellent. Only one thing: room 2 above the bar leaches all the bar noise...up until 11 or so. Any further visits would prompt me to ask for a quieter room."
