We had a great stay, the property is very clean and staff is nice. There was air conditioning but would be better if electric fans were installed in the room.

Great views with a night on Halong Bay

This isn't just a hotel, it is a tour as well. We did the single night/2 day tour. The staff put together a great experience. The scenery was beautiful. The cabin itself was ok. It was clean and appointed well enough. But you are going to spend most of your time on the deck looking at the gorgeous views. On the single night, we did three what I would call "events". We had the opportunity to climb one of the islands, go kayaking in an island lagoon, and explore one of the caves. Our guide Nancy was the best! The only not as great thing was the food. While there were a couple of simply outstanding dishes, the food was catered to a more bland western palate. Which is fine because I'm sure there are a lot of western tourists who complain about spicy food. The food wasn't bad. It was just fine, and I would probably have preferred a more authentic Vietnamese dishes. But then again, I'm a more adventurous eater. One word of caution: if you have special dietary requirements, be explicit, and let them know well in advance of departure. The food skews toward pork and shellfish, so if you are kosher, you need to be explicit and give them plenty of warning. Because once you are on the boat, it isn't like you can just hope down to the local store.

We were moved from a nice big boat , big room , to an older worn down small and small roomed boat , without any explanation !! Very disappointing we had no idea what was happening or where we would be staying on the second night , such an inconvenience having to repack our bags. I thought it was supposed to be relaxing. Hopefully we will recieve some money back for the stuff around!!!!

Very nice cruise. The room was small but very clean and well furnished. The staff was nice and friendly. The meals could be improved by being diversified (we were eating always the same kind of food).

快適に過ごせました

1泊2日のクルーズに参加しました。船はそれほど大きくありませんが快適で、食事も美味しかったです。到着時の昼食から翌日の昼食まで4食もありました。カヤックツァーや洞窟ツァーなどもあり盛り沢山でしたが、逆に時間の制約が多く、やや窮屈な感じはしました。ハロン湾のクルーズは恐らく皆、そうなのでしょうが。。。

일단 이미지랑 배가 달라요... 엄청 작은 배가 왔더라구요

밤에 에어컨이 된다고 했는데 에어컨이 고장나 있더라구요.. 아시다시피 베트남은 엄청 더운 나라죠.. 선풍기 한대를 더 주면서 창문을 열어놓고 자라더군요.. 앞에 아무도 안다닌다고... 안다니긴 개뿔 계속 왔다갔다해서 스텝들이 창문 닫아놓고 자서 쪄 죽는 줄 알았어요. 왜 평점이 높은지 의문입니다.

Pay a little more and use another company

We arrived off the transfer bus and onto Lavender cruise at 1pm. All the other boats started heading off but we just sat and sat and didn't move. We had a nice lunch on the boat whilst tied up at the wharf but it was absolutely sweltering and all the guests were dripping with sweat. We didn't leave Halong Bay wharf until 3pm which was when we were supposed to be kayaking. At 4pm we got to kayaking and rather than the scheduled hour and a half kayak tour we were only given 30 minutes. We were then taken to the swimming beach but on arrival to the island we weren't permitted to enter as we were too late. They kept turning the air conditioners off so our rooms were too hot to sit in and the upstairs deck only had a small shaded area but it was still very hot and with no airconditioning anywhere on the boat it was terrible. They even turned the airconditioning off in the middle of the night which was disgusting. The second day we went to swimming beach and we were told we had 45minutes but after half an hour we were hurried back on the boat. Our boat was of course one of the first ones back so then spent an hour sitting at the wharf without airconditioning waiting for the transfer home.

Transferred to Another Cruise at Last Minute

Unfortunately, we were transferred to another cruise line almost at the last minute. Everybody was very helpful and lovely, during the transfer process. Be aware though, that when you are on a two night, 3 day cruise, that they transfer you to a smaller boat for about 7 hours on the second day. This was completely unexpected, and not what we wanted. We finished up leaving the cruise after the first night, and went back to Hanoi because of this transfer issue. We were happy to get a partial refund. Again, everybody was very helpful to make our early return to Hanoi happen, for which we are very thankful. Be aware that some boats have Karaoke. Everybody on the boat was fantastic, and did a great job. And the boat was also recently renovated and spotlessly clean.

ハロン湾の絶景を堪能するには宿泊クルーズは欠かせません。景色はどの船も一緒ですのでコストパフォーマンスを優先するならラベンダーです。サービスも何の不足もありませんでした。お薦めです。

Wonderful trip

We took two nights three day cruise, and totally enjoyed! Amazing place and great cruise. Good tour guide, friendly crew, and great food! We couldn't see the beautiful sunrise if we took only one night cruise.

Great tour guide "Qui" was very entertaining. Boat was pleasant, food was very good, Good attentive staff. Lavender was on time, well organized, helped us with visas.

Great Trip with Lavender Cruise

Best Option to stay in Halong Bay 2 days 1 night. Staffs are good English speaking, friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and fresh. Room is clean and large view of the Bay. Highly Recommended this cruise.
