"First time staying in Alabama. We rent vacation houses many times per year and I can say our stay here was wonderful. It is close to the road, there is definitely road noise, but it didn't matter, the house and the view made you forget the noise. The bed was beyond comfortable! We lost power one night (the entire area, not a house issue). I messaged the host and received a response within minutes (at 9:30 pm). She called the power company and it was back on within 30 minutes. We also requested...

"Wanted to get out by the water for the weekend and this was a great spot! Enjoyed our time there. "

"The house on the lake was perfect for our family. It was a quiet area to just relax and play in the water. The private dock was a good area to fish off of, or to just jump in and float around. This is definitely a place we want to visit again. "

"It was great very comfortable. There were extra everything lots of blankets, everything thing you need in the kitchen. Lots of room we had two children and five adults. The view was beautiful the dock was great. The neighborhood made us feel safe and all the neighbors were very friendly"

"The cabin was clean and cozy. Everything was exactly as described. The location was perfect. A few hooks on the wall to hang a robe or wet towels would be a great addition. "

"View of the lake and sailboats from the front porch! We were in the area to visit Cathedral Caverns (HIGHLY recommend!) Enjoyed our stay here."

"The driveway and the stairs to the boat house/dock are very steep and of concern if problems with mobility/balance. There is only 1 tv."

"I rented both of the owners houses that were right on Guntersville Lake at the marina. I have to say I was totally impressed with every single aspect of these properties. First the size , big well equipped, kitchens, living rooms bedrooms everything was spotless. "We loved this place! We've stayed down the road before, but we were looking for a better dock - this was the winner! Amazing - all the nieces and nephew's loved it.A small housekeeping glitch upon arrival through no fault of their own, but the hosts more than took care of it.Neighbors are good as well and we'll definitely be back."

"4 ladies up for a caving and hiking week. The cabin was just fine for our needs. We really enjoyed looking at the old pictures on the porch of previous guests. The cabin has been upgraded at some point and was very comfortable and clean. "

"Before you book, this is an older cabin, so be aware and don’t judge it for being older. It’s cozy and comfortable. Of course it needs some fixing here and there, but what doesn’t? Mainly the bathroom, but it functions as it should. The air conditioning works very well!! The cabin is right on the water.
