  • This beautiful gem was recently featured on American Dream home Season 3! It is a haven and piece of heaven for us, and can certainly be for you as well!

    Our home is situated on a quiet stretch of beach (away from all the mega hotels and condos), where you will enjoy your own piece of paradise - yet it is close enough to all attractions the area has to offer. The beach in front of the house is a private beach, available only to our guests. There is no public access for miles in either direction, making it quiet and peaceful. No fighting for a spot to sit or the need to deal with overcrowding.

    Our homes sits directly on the sand, only steps to the pristine waters of the gulf of Mexico. Its South facing orientation gives you unobstructed, gorgeous views of both the morning sunrise and evening sunset from the main deck.
    2 of the master suites walk out directly onto the main deck with those same amazing views. In total there are 3 master suites, all with King beds and en-suite bathrooms. The fourth room features two queen over queen bunks, perfect for sleeping 8 kiddos. The Bunk room also has its own en-suite bathroom.
    The large living/dining area has ample seating for 14 guests. The Kitchen is fully stocked to easily accommodate meal prep for the whole group! (Keurig, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, pots pans, serving dishes, glassware, utensils etc, all available).
    We also provide beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards etc for your use.
    Linens and bath towels are provided, as well as a starter amenity kit to get you going. (mini shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, mini dish soap, sponge, paper towel Etc). We do NOT provide beach towels.

    Our home has plenty of parking space for all guests, and the large undercover carport is an ideal space for Kayaks, bikes or any other gear you choose to bring or rent. Just opposite the house is access to the lagoon, which is perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and other activities.

    Gulf shores (and Orange Beach, which is just 15 min away from GS) offer a huge array of activities. These include Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, dolphin cruises, diving, jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, fishing and more! This area also boasts a huge variety of great restaurants, including waterfront dining.


    Please Note: Minimum age to book and stay at this property is 25. adult groups and Families with kids are welcome. No student groups, events/weddings/parties are allowed on the premises.

    We require our standard rental agreement to be signed online by each group. The rental agreement is sent via DocuSign approximately 1 month before your arrival.

    Please Note: All credit card payments incur an additional 3% merchant processing fee. There are no fees for check or Venmo payments. If you prefer to pay via check or Venmo, please contact us after your booking.

    Security Deposit: Please note that we charge an additional $500.00 fully refundable damage deposit for each reservation. The security deposit is refunded back 1-3 days after your stay as long as there are no damages to the property.

    We require our standard rental agreement to be signed online by each group. The rental agreement is sent via DocuSign approximately 1 month before your arrival.

The house was perfect for our blend of families! The house was clean, had everything in kitchen that we needed to prepare meals, easy access to beach, and easy communication with the host. One of the best stays I’ve ever had.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Directly on the private beach was perfect. Loved all the rooms with their own bathrooms. Communication was great and loved that this was one that was not with all of the crowded condos but still not too far to restaurants. Would book again!

House location and amenities were good.House was well stocked with beach accessories. Kitchen was also well stocked for cooking needs. Host very attentive and easy to communicate with. For the price and length of stay we felt as if more necessities such as dish soap, bathroom products , paper products should have been included. Overall good vacation and house was great for our family.

Great stay at Heron!

We were very pleased with the property, this section of the beach was wonderful, and we had a great view from our porch. The house was great, we would definitely stay here again.

Family Summer Vacation

Each summer, my family travel to a beach destination with golf courses near by. Our trip to Gulf Shores meet all our expectations. The house was great. Can not beat location!

Everything was perfect!! IF I had to make one suggestion it would be to add a little more silverware. Check in and out was very easy and the host checked in to make sure we got in and everything was good.

We just spent a week with our 14 family members—all ages. The home is beautiful, many outdoor seating areas, and steps to a private beach. We will be back!

Family Christmas in Gulf Shores

This property was perfect for our family of 10. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The home was very spacious with an amazing view. What you see from the pictures is exactly what you get. I would definitely recommend this property, especially for a large group.

Highly Recommend!

This beach house was perfect for our family! Great floorplan with a private bath for each bedroom. Wonderful windows in the great room with an awesome view of the beach. Great kitchen with lots of dishes and appliances. This was very nice for us as we have little ones and stay in for most meals. Loved having the large table with lots of seating so all our family could all eat together. Great outdoor space and very close walk down to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and will be booking this house again!

Great Stay

This is a great place and very comfortable. A bit sandy in house and downstairs where beach toys are kept and where outside shower and faucet are. Downstairs needs to be washed down of sand which would slow tracking it in house but I have to admit it’s a beach home and sand is part of the territory you’re in. The owner was very kind and always available for questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation with young kids

Family of 10 for four days. I can’t imagine a better location on the beach. It was perfect. Hosts were great and there were really no issues at all. Home was wonderful…plenty of sleeping spaces for everyone. Kitchen was well-equipped, big dining table easily seated 10. We loved it!!

Amazing owners

The owners of this property were so helpful with everything and always immediately responded to questions or concerns. The floor plan of the house is perfect for families. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and all adult couples had a comfortable king size bed. More than enough room for kids in the bunk room with two queen size bunks. We were thrilled and amazed at the wildlife.. and were so lucky to see a large sea turtle come ashore and lay eggs, then return to the gulf the first night we were there. We loved our stay and had a wonderful time.

Heron/June Trip

The property was nice and we enjoyed staying there. The floors were a little sandy. Just FYI, the vent in front of the closet doors leaked when it rain. It was awesome to have beach chairs there for our use and the kitchen was outfitted well. You may be aware of this but the hinges on the storage box outside were rusted and pulled away from the box. We will definitely consider renting it again. It was perfect for our family.

Family Vacay Gulf Shores

Beautiful Gulf Shores home that was perfect for our family vacation (ages 2 to 75)! The layout of the home is perfect with the large open living and dining room with bedrooms on the four corners, all with en suite bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of sand toys provided to keep our 2 year old entertained for hours. Beach chairs also provided but we decided to go with beach service from High Wave 59 (highwave59.com). Beach was fantastic and the most private of any home we’ve stayed along the gulf (PCB, Destin, Navarre)!Owners Taylan and Michelle were very welcoming and checked in on us to make sure we were settled. Also quick responses to a couple questions we had along the way. Highly recommend this home for your family and/or friends. We are already looking forward to planning our trip for next year.
