    The Space:

    This rental is located on the Fort Morgan, Alabama peninsula at the Gulf Shores Plantation. This ground floor condo features a full kitchen with plenty of seating for dining with the whole family! Once you walk out onto the furnished balcony, you may decide to take a few steps more to the boardwalk to relax on the beach for the afternoon. The Gulf Shores Plantation also offers six shared pools just steps away, a dry sauna, basketball court, tennis court, and shuffleboard!



    What's nearby:

    Gulf Shores Plantation is tucked just a little over 12 miles down Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Kiva Dunes Golf Course is located at the entrance to the condos. If you are getting hungry and looking for a taste of what the locals eat, grab a bite at Sassy Bass located on-site near the Dunes building. You are also only a short drive back into town where you'll find mini golf, shopping, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA, and much more!

Relaxing stay

Great unit! It was clean and the perfect size. Pools were nice and it was a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Darling

We rented this condo for my son’s birthday weekend. He lives to swim so the indoor pool was perfect. The condo was fantastic. Clean, cute and great location. We will definitely stay here again!!

Great location, condo offered beach chairs and beach toys, short walk to beach and pool. This condo needs a deep clean.

Need new beds!

Stay was great! Nice private, not far to go get essentials! Needed bigger bed for master room! Twin beds not comfortable either! Sleeping was not good! Everything else was great!

This property was perfect for our needs. We had tennis, golf, beach, and food all nearby. The downside was the lack of sheets/bedding for the pullout couch. One out of four towels was dirty, but this was fixed quickly. We never got a fitted sheet for the couch mattress. Since there is a rule for not hanging towels over the railing, they could easily add some outdoor hooks. We had a really good time.

Pleasant weekend trip

We really enjoyed our long weekend trip. This was our first time to this property. I enjoyed the slower pace than Gulf Shores but still a quick trip into town for dinner. Only two minor items for feedback. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and the coffee maker is on the low end and the curtains don’t block the outside parking lot lights very well. Otherwise a really nice property. Updated and clean.

Needs updating!

Needs updating bad. Electrical outlets are wore out. Need to stock more essentials, can opener, oven mits, balcony door, need dishwasher safe plates, also had gnats and ants as well. We love staying on plantation east, but everything is getting really run down. Main pool closes at dark every night too. Might be our last time at east. This was our third time.

This is a very “family friendly” place… that being said… there are a lot of kids running up and down the hall, and stomping in the room above you. It may not be the same for everyone, but it seemed like we had a group of preteens or teenagers unsupervised in the room above us. Sounded like they were playing tackle football until 3-4 in the morning. This is not the fault of the host or the area, just poor neighbors. I always try to be respectful of our neighbors and observe “quiet time” but it is NOT enforced at this place. Also, for some reason, there is an outside door entry straight into one of the bedrooms which was where my 4 year old was supposed to sleep. All it had to keep it locked was a deadbolt he could easily reach. Not safe at all! What if someone knocked on the door and he just unlocked it in the middle of the night? He’d potentially be abducted. I ended up sleeping in the same room as my son so he would not be alone in that room. Made me very uncomfortable knowing there was immediate access to the outside of the condo from my child’s room. There is no indication of this on any of the pictures or listing. Other than that, the room was very clean and the pool was nice. They did allow us to check in early, but that was a 45 minute ordeal of standing in the hallway and punching in 10 to 12 digits for a door code (that nobody can remember). Had to make sure we had our phones on us at all times so we could have a 12 digit door code in them to get into our room.

This was a great room for a short vacation stay with my friend and our kids! Short walk to the beach and pools made it so much more enjoyable
