Each side of the Beach Castle includes 8 bedrooms, including 3 Gulf front Master Bedrooms, one with separate shower and jetted tub, and 6, count 'em, 6 bathrooms. There's also a sitting room, living room, dining room, and well-furnished kitchen.

PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE BEDROOM DESCRIPTION IS CURRENTLY ACCURATE. We make changes! This description is up to date. The pictures are newer than the matterport/virtual tour but not as up to date as the above list. Both the photography and virtual tour are expected to be updated in April 2024 (now!) but you should rely on the description for now.

TWO refrigerators with ice makers, washer dryer, garbage disposal, 2 dishwashers, and covered and open decks. That's all PER SIDE! The Beach Castle also features outdoor showers, a picnic table, a huge sundeck, and even a full sized pool!

Located on Fort Morgan, Beach Castle is close to many restaurants, golf courses, and other things to do, feels away from it all (but is only a short drive to all the hubbub on Gulf Shores itself), and is often a more cost-efficient choice for those who seek something a little more laid back. Plus, as an added bonus, our Fort Morgan vacation homes are not currently subject to the same restrictions on setting up umbrellas and other amenities overnight as those in Gulf Shores itself.

TWO REFRIGERATORS
Two? Per side? Yes two. Because you won't want to stay somewhere without an extra fridge once you have had them.

POOL
Big. Private to the two sides of the duplex: no sharing with other places nearby. The pool is open all year. It's big! 30x15x3-5'! Rectangle. Lounge chairs are provided around the pool.

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

PARKING
There is available onsite, offstreet, parking for at least 6 midsize vehicles (per side), more if you stack well. In duplex units, please be neighborly about this.

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, GRILLS ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have both drip coffee makers and Keurigs as well.

PETS
We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends at many locations. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Approval in a duplex location, especially for peak weeks, generally is only available for guests renting both sides of the duplex. Please inquire.

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

Fantastic House

We had the most wonderful stay at the Beach Castle East/West for our family gathering. First, it was very clean, the kitchen had all the items we would need for our week, and the location and view were perfect. The beds were all made and ready for us, including the top bunks! The pool was one of the nicest we have ever experienced, well-maintained and the nine children (3-15 yrs.) loved it and allowed the cousins lots of outdoor time, especially in the evenings (well-lit area).The space was all we could have asked for, our group of 25 had room enough to spread out and if you wanted some quieter time, you could easily find a nook. This will be a difficult house to beat in the future. The owners were very accommodating when we had questions just prior to the trip. We also played family games each evening and there was even space to play and never worried about if there was enough space! We had a week full memories and no worries about the place we were staying!

Our family reunion was a blast thanks to a great stay at the Beach Castle. We had both sides of the house, and that allowed for plenty of space to cook, connect, and relax. The location couldn’t have been better. The private pool and basically private beach gave kids and adults endless activities. The host’s communication was fantastic, and check-in/out was seamless.

Our family absolutely loved our week at Beach Castle East & West. The layout was great. We loved the view of the ocean from the balconies, and the pool was the best we have ever had on a vacation! The ledges at both ends to sit on were perfect. Plenty of hot water. Plenty of seating. Plenty of parking. The beach was quiet. We experienced one problem with the air conditioning on the 4th floor Sunday evening and after we reached out, it was fixed within 2 hours! Highly recommend.

Perfect home on the beach

We had 30 in our group! We rented both sides of the house. It was perfect! There was more than plenty of room for all of us and the pool is full size! Right on the beach made it perfect!

Wonderful Large Family House

We absolutely loved this property! Plenty of space for everyone to have their own private space as well as spacious public gathering areas for meal and game times. The proximity to the beach is second to none. It's also nice to have the pool out the back door. This is one of the best layouts for a vacant rental.
