Heerlijk huis! Ruime kamers. Met alle airconditioning, ramen die open kunnen met hekken er voor. Badkamers schoon,genoeg handdoeken. Wasmachine aanwezig, dus das extra fijn. Meubels waren wel wat gedateerd, maar we hebben ons er prima mee gered! Het dakterras was na even schoonspuiten heerlijk vertoeven, geweldige plek! Het zwembad werd 2x per week schoongemaakt, top, elke dag gebruik gemaakt. Zijn een paar keer naar gemeenschappelijke bad geweest...ook fijn. Keuken goed gebruik gemaakt van alles, gemoeg om eigen potje te koken! Contact met de eigenaar was via de app, ook even op 1e dag gebeld, top geregeld. Aan de overkant behulpzaam stel, alwaar we ook de kaarten voor de airco konden halen. Er zit een markt op loopafstand...hie heerlijk is dat! Wij hebben genoten!

Tired and run down

AC card meter appears to be set for charge rate at 0.66 per kWh, where Spain only charges between 0.19-0.30,(I’m all for making money but this is an unfair rate discrepancy being charged, considering rental costs). I would suggest a AC timer to limit the AC to run for max 1 hr at a time rather than this supplement charge.Lots of personal belongings left around the house, stuffed in drawers at bedside cabinets, in bottom of wardrobes. (nightshirts, cosmetics, nappies(clean) old radios, clothes), as well as old electric razors( dirty) sitting on living room shelving, old crocs, 2x gas heaters in living room.Photos of property on website do not reflect current state of property, -kitchen cupboards broken with doors hanging off, downstairs bedside cabinet with handle broken. Welcoming brochure in house requires to be modernised, most if not all items are from 2016. Unsure when the last time the property was properly cleaned, windows have numerous flys, mosquitoes squashed into the glass and appears to have been there for some period of time. Cooking equipment was not clean neither was the external BBQ- we had to wash and clean the pots/ frying pan as used, prior to using. Unsure of the last time the cups were properly cleaned also.Fridge was not cleaned prior to arrival, open tubs of butter, jam, ice cream tubs(3/4 used) etc left behind. The main saving grace for the property is the external pool. This is cleaned twice weekly

Rented to visit vets for scan

This property is nice inside and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom were a saviour as my dad has mobility issues but it is quite a while since it had a view as there have been many apartments built behind. We enjoyed the restaurants in walking distance if you are fit 5 mins drive if you are not ablet to walk. The outside space is nice but apart from 4 new sunbeds all the garden furniture is knackered with 2 chairs having 1 leg shorter than the other and the other 2 having torn seats, contacted the owner he didn’t give a monkeys About 60 sparrows come to roost every evening which is lovely apart from they poop all over the patio and garden furniture I have never spent so much time sweeping up on holiday all this villa needs is some love and attention

Bien en general salvo algún detalle

Todo bien, la casa aceptable, la televisión se corta de vez en cuando, la zona de piscina tuvieron que levantar una parte del suelo por una fuga de agua, pero de no ser por este percance estaba bien, tuvimos un día la piscina sucia pero se solucionó. La comunicación con el propietario buena por wasap. Para bajar a la playa hace falta coche pero está cerca, a diez minutos, en general buena estancia, zona muy tranquila.

Mauvaise expérience

Le séjour ne correspond pas vraiment à l’annonce, pas de pack de bienvenue, climatisation payante et le comble l’état déplorable de des lits, draps et oreillers,Nous avons trouvé des tics dans le lit, heureusement que la Dave et sa femme (très sympathiques et serviables), les gardiens des lieux sont venus le lendemain avec un produit pour traiter le lit et changer les farts et les oreillers. Je déconseille vivement cette location

Buen sitio para unos días de descanso

La zona es tranquila y la casa muy acogedora. Es necesario el aire acondicionado por el calor que hace, y no está incluido en el precio. La barbacoa no la pudimos usar porque no estaba en condiciones para usarla. Por lo demás todo bien

Not up to day standards wouldn’t stay again it needs a bit of work the beds was not very comfortable no pillows protect or mattress covers if you need air con you have to paid extra

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The villa is set in a lovely urbanisation which is well served by shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a pharmacy, vets and tobacco shop here. All are just 10 mins walk from the villa or two mins drive away. There is also a small enclosed dog walking area where you can let your pooches off the lead for a good run nearby. The villa was just as we expected and we enjoyed a fantastic month there. Any queries were quickly addressed by calling Andy who replied immediately. The surrounding area is full of orange and lemon groves and there are plenty of walks around the lanes and lake. We came in the winter and enjoyed everything. We would love to come again but next time in the summer when we can enjoy the private pool and solarium. Thank you Andy. Highly recommended

Die Angaben zum Objekt waren nicht passend. Vieles muss erneuert werden.

Das Haus ist eigentlich schön, aber vieles ist kaputt und das Kücheninventar unvollständig und schmutzig bzw kaputt, keine Kaffeemaschine Klimaanlage muss zusätzlich bezahlt werden, das Willkommenspaket war garnicht vorhanden, und ohne Auto kann man nicht einkaufen, oder überhaupt etwas machen. Gott sei Dank hatten wir zwei ganz nette Leute, die uns am Ankunftstag geholfen haben. Wir können dieses Objekt so nicht weiter empfehlen!

Nice Villa

Enjoyed 10 night rental of Casa George hired a car which I was glad about enabled us to get a little further afield. Communication with the owner was spot on everything was as described apart from no welcome pack but not a problem as arrived lunchtime and able to go to the supermarket for a big shop. Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing holiday local bars were just over a 10 minute stroll where food was excellent especially at Med bar and El bar thanks Andy Rolfe.

Not Luxury

The villa and furnishings where very tired and could do with an upgrade. there was no welcome pack so Andy gave us a10 euro air con card ( you have to use these for the air con to work) The tv/wifi didn't work for the first 3 days, when they came to repair it they said the socket had been damaged and we would have to pay the 20 euro bill, I informed Andy but never heard back. There are only 2 sun loungers by the pool, the information folder could do with updating, it mentions hiring a car but gives the prices for 2008! You will need a car its 50 euros in a taxi to the airport, apart from the twenty minute walk to the half a dozen bars on the urbanisation nothing else is in walking distance. In the 2 weeks we where there we never saw a cleaner and therefore had the same bedding and towels for the entire stay! On the plus side the neighbours where very friendly!

Tranquilidad y comodidad

La casa se encuentra en una urbanización muy tranquila a 7 minutos en coche de la playa del Moncayo.La piscina es estupenda.Se echa en falta algún arreglo pequeño en el alumbrado, ducha del patio y limpieza en el menaje de cocina .Por lo demás,muy bien.

Muy mal

Hola....el alojamiento como tal es estupendo, una casa muy bonita y acogedora....lo malo es que cuando llegamos no nos recibió nadie...estuvimos buscando la casa más de una hora, cuando por fin la encontramos , tuvimos que llamar a un número de teléfono donde nos dijeron dónde estaban las llaves.... mala comunicación. Cuando ya entramos a la casa vimos que estaba llena de moscas, repleta, algo exagerado en todas las estancias de la casa, salón, cocina, baños y habitaciones. No pudimos hacer vida normal en la casa, no pudimos ni desayunar, comer o cenar dentro de la casa, con lo cual comíamos fuera , cenábamos fuera y desayunábamos fuera....pusimos unos cuantos mensajes de la situación y su respuesta fue de que el problema se debía ha unas obras cercanas, cosa que suena a risa porque los que lo sufrimos fuimos nosotros y no el....no nos dio ninguna solución, ni fue atento , ni nos compensó con nada....otra cosa fue la barbacoa llena de cenizas estaba sucia...la piscina también sucia, la depuradora la tuvimos que poner nosotros.....fue una falta de atención por parte del propietario .....yo por mi parte nunca más voy a volver ha alquilar esa casa.....

Très belle villa très bon emplacement

Très belle villa avec petite piscine très sympathique très bien placé je te laisse il y a un grand marché qui est situé à 500 m le dimanche très sympathique pour faire ses courses tout autour il y a pas mal d'hypermarchés il faut un véhicule il n'y a pas de transport en commun mais à part ça c'est super j'ai passé un séjour avec ma famille très sympathique Patricia et Michel les personnes qui nous ont reçu sont très très gentil et très à l'écoute il parle anglais mais ils font l'effort pour qu'on les comprenne en tout cas j'ai passé 15 jours magnifiques le seul bémol c'est qu'il y a beaucoup de mouches sinon le séjour était super piscine super bien entretenue chaque semaine je conseille cette vie là c'est très très sérieux pour famille avec enfants endroit très calme en retrait de la ville qui se trouve à 5,6 km de torrevieja

Chalet con piscina privada

Debido a las circunstancias actuales elegimos una casa con piscina privada que, aunque algo pequeña, los niños lo han disfrutado mucho, además de que está cuidada y limpia. La piscina comunitaria estaba cerrada, aunque con la privada y la playa, no nos ha hecho falta. El propietario, inglés, ha estado muy atento, a pesar de no estar allí, y la comunicación ha sido muy fluida. También con la que gestiona la casa (que también es inglesa). La casa es ideal para seis personas y dispone de todo lo necesario. La TV es con parabólica con canales en inglés, pero a menos que sigas una telenovela, no echarás en falta los canales en español 😉? Lo único a destacar es que hay que abonar un adicional por el uso del aire acondicionado, aunque es muy poco, y depende del uso que le des. La ubicación del alojamiento es ideal para el turismo de sol y playa, así como para las visitas culturales y de ocio que hay en el entorno. Sin duda, este alojamiento es recomendable.

Brilliant villa in excellent location, quiet & close to amenities, Andy was very helpful at a stressful time, (coronavirus) Spain had just started its lockdown, so we had to cut our holiday short! If we ever go back to Spain this is the place we would go, great for our dog too, thanks Andy

Schönes gemütliches Ferienhaus mit allem Komfort

Wir hatten zwei sehr erholsame Wochen in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten mit dem Vermieter guten Kontakt und können das Haus mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

ENJOYED STAYING AT CASA GEORGE

We had a great week at the villa. The beginning of the week we had lovely weather and visited Lemon Tree Market on Sunday morning. A must as we were able to get a lot of supplies for the week. Best market we have ever been to. On the Wednesday we had the storms start and they kept up for the rest of the week. The storms everyone must have heard about!! Worst on record. The shops and restaurants are a good 15 to 20 minutes walk at a reasonable pace. We would have enjoyed the visit much better if we had had a car. Went to Guardamar beach by bus; lovely beach with plenty of restaurants along the front. Too far to walk. I do feel that a car is essential to get the full benefit of this villa.
