I really wanted to love this property because the location is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We stayed here from June 16–23 with a group of seven. During our stay, our section of the property experienced repeated power outages while other areas of the hotel still had electricity. We also went two nights without hot water. We found insects in our room during our stay. I understand that this is a tropical destination and seeing an occasional bug is expected, but this seemed beyond what I anticipated for a property advertised as a resort. There was also a strong musty/sewage-like odor coming from the laundry area throughout our stay. Another frustration was the lack of basic linens. With seven people staying in our villa, we were only provided with two washcloths for the entire stay. The towels provided were microfiber-style towels rather than the standard bath towels we expected for a resort. Customer service was another disappointment. While I did bring some concerns to the staff, I often felt like asking for assistance was an inconvenience. Because of those interactions, I didn’t feel comfortable continuing to report every issue as it came up. I will say the location is convenient and the beach nearby is beautiful, which was the highlight of our trip. However, for the amount we paid ($2,400), I expected a much better-maintained property and a higher level of service. I hope management addresses these issues because the property has potential.

Been coming for years and always enjoy our visit.

We stayed on a beachfront room, but unfortunately, it was situated right in front of the bar. So early in the morning, you could hear the staff talking loudly and laughing. I think that in this type of properties, the staff should more quiet, and let the guests have a more quiet vacation. The same happened while having breakfast, the staff communicates with each other by talking loud at a distance, which should not be the case. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice, very clean, very well designed.
