"We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. However, the house exceeded our expectations being warm, comfortable and had everything you could need - really high quality furnishings etc. Fantastic views from the house and the patio area and walks from the doorstep. Spacious enough for the teenager and the pre-teen to be separated and mum and dad to have some space to chill out! "Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot. Slept like logs, all of us. "Beautiful location, well laid out and up to date property. Fully stocked for all eventualities. Warm welcome from host, appreciated bottle of wine! Lots of things to do in the area, we were so busy we couldn't find time to spark up the hot tub, alas. All in all, a fabulous week. The agency website doesn't do sufficient justice to the property."
