"The common area (laundry, fitness etc) is under renovation but we’re not informed ahead of time. When I asked about the laundry location, I kept receiving the same instructions and code how to access when it’s not really available. We could have brought more clothes during the trip as we expected to be able to wash our clothes and not packed them dirty. Room cleaning is once a week which was our entire stay, sheets were not changed and room was not cleaned. They have to clean more...

"Our family traveled for 3 weeks and this was the most amazing place to stay. Number one out of all places!! The bedrooms were perfect, the beds were so comfortable and the washer and dryer were a huge help. We were able to watch TV, cook and the place was well upgraded. There were great restaurants nearby and it was quiet and comfortable. The AC was also amazing. I cannot rave enough about this stay. The train station was less than 2 miles away and there were a few great grocery stores nearby. A...

"When I arrived, I discovered that I couldn't flush the toilet. The flush button and its components were just laying on the washbasin, leaving a hole where the button should have been. The reception staff could not offer me another room. Later that night, I woke up and saw bedbugs in my bed. Although the reception was easily reachable by phone and WhatsApp, they were unable to offer an alternative at that time. I checked out the next morning and received a refund, which was handled quickly."

"I stayed in the Freesia apartment for one month and was visited by friends and family for various lengths of time. The most we had in the apartment at any time was five, which was quite comfortable. The location is off a busy street, but the apartment is set back in a much quieter area of the building. The setup is bright and efficient. The rooms were simply but comfortably furnished. "The bathroom shower and basin were a bit clogged, so the water was draining very slowly. The blanket (not the cover) was clean but had large yellow stains. I don’t know how old they must have been to become so deeply ingrained and impossible to remove. The walls were also a bit dirty, as if they hadn’t been painted in a very long time. Apart from that, the stay was comfortable. The staff were kind, and the location is convenient, close to public transportation and some of Berlin’s main...

"I came to Germany for a trade fair at Messe Berlin and found hotel prices during the event incredibly high. For 22–24 September, I was quoted €378 for a single bed in a five-person hostel room. Then I found this hotel in Potsdam for €414 for two nights. Getting to the fair was easy: the tram stop is about 200 metres away, and with a transfer to the S7, the journey took around an hour. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Mr Nicholas also replied quickly whenever I had a question. Prices...
