It sits on a wall between the windows with the bed on one side and the couch on the other without the ability to turn it either way. The dust on the nightstands and phone was thick and visible. "Staff was friendly and helpful. Not many motels near Oakland University, but I’m not sure we would stay at this one again. It allows pets and is generally run-down."

"This hotel was fabulous in every way. The welcoming way the entrance was decorated for Easter was so inviting. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were immaculate. Every corner was dusted and cleaned. This was by far the best place that I have ever stayed booking through a third-party. I will definitely look for Candlewood anywhere I go now.
