"Had an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best I’ve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate. "I have stayed here before so knew what to expect, it has different proprietors but was better to be honest than last time which wasn’t bad anyway, it was just better this time!"

"This is a delightful cottage for 1 or 2 people. Sofas and bed are comfortable; shower room stylish with a great sized shower. And with lovely underfloor heating toes were toastie all weekend. I was able to entertain friends in a relaxed informal environment which was great."

"Our stay at the old windmill was excellent the food was great and very delicious. Our room was comfortable and very clean, The Old Windmill was warm and very friendly. Would definitely be returning. "

"We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. "

"Both the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room. They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator. The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh."
