Morning Glory Cabin in Greer

Located in the heart of Greer, a small village in the White Mountains of Arizona, Morning Glory is the perfect location for your mountain get-away. A four-season vacation destination, Greer and the White Mountains offer hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, boating, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, tubing, birding or just an escape from the demands of everyday life (or the heat of the desert southwest).

Within a short walk or drive, you'll find the Little Colorado River, Sunrise Ski Resort with winter and summer activities, the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, several lakes, and hiking and biking trails.

Or stick close to home. On the covered porch you'll experience the sights, sounds and aromas of the forest, as well as the beauty of creation, including abundant wildlife. Within the area surrounding Greer you may see bighorn sheep, elk, deer, black bear, wild turkeys, herons.

No need to fear inclement weather. Settle in by the fireplace or on the covered porch with a good book or challenge your family or friends to a board game or a game of cards. However you spend your time here, you won't regret leaving the cares of everyday life behind and escaping to “the best li'l cabin in the woods”!

Morning Glory is a comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin accommodating up to 6 people. Secluded in the pines, it offers you a peaceful get-away only a short walk to the Little Colorado River. Enjoy a true cabin experience amidst the beauty and tranquility of a pine forest.
This welcoming cabin is equipped with almost everything you need for your get-away.
Each of the three bedrooms has a top-of-the-line queen bed.
There are two bathrooms, one in the main living area and one in the master bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with:

Table settings: dishes, flatware, glasses, serving dishes

Cool shaded cabin in the heart of Greer AZ

Check in was easy, cabin was very clean and nicely furnished, loved having the screen door for ventilation, and wifi worked well. Well situated in shady pine trees and close enough to walk to everything in Greer. We loved our stay with only one exception - the appliances need updating. The oven door didn't close all the way making cooking difficult, toaster burnt everything, and coffee pot didn't work. Manager did quickly replace coffee pot and we made everything else work, so overall great stay.

As stated in other reviews, the bathrooms were very small but doable. Everything was very clean and the cabin had everything we needed. The barbecue could have been better maintained. Sadly the swing in the picture was not there. All in all a very good stay.

It was 90 degrees outside and there was no ac inside. The mattress was so worn out. I would automatically roll to the middle of the mattress. The sheets on one of the beds had stains on it. You could not flush toilet paper down the toilet. We were pretty disappointed.

Fabulous 33rd Anniversary Getaway

It was the most beautiful area, seeing all the trees, flowers bushes wildlife was breathtaking while we were on different hikes with our dogs! The Cabin was so gorgeous and spacious! It was very welcoming and inviting to walk in the front door! Friday and Saturday morning we were outside on the patio and a herd of beautiful young deer were walking around the neighborhood! It was one of the best parts of the weekend, because that is something you don't see everyday living in the City! Also the Silence was so quiet and peaceful, you could actually hear yourself think! Only heard a car or truck drive by twice a day! We feel so refreshed and revived now! We will definitely be back to Greer It really is the hidden Gem of Arizona Thank you again for making such fabulous places to stay

Great cabin with walking access to Main St. spacious and overall clean. Would definitely return.

Clean overall. Stocked well with kitchen gadgets, coffee, seasonings and comfortable. Restrooms are small so if a larger person were to stay if could be a tight fit.
