"Beautiful location! Loved hearing the river as I fell asleep. Hot tub was great after long day of hiking. I know someone commented about the walking path but it did not bother us at all and we spent a fair amount of time on the patio. It’s just a short little access path that leads into the woods. not a big deal imo as we only saw a handful of people use it. Had a fire right next to the river which was also very nice and private. "

"The Riverfront Cabin was in an excellent location for accessing the Mount Rainier Sunrise entrance as well as nearby stores and a few restaurants. We didn't spend much time at the cabin as we were out and about exploring, but when we did, we appreciated the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and salt water hot tub for soaking after our long hikes. "Wonderful experience in this well kept cabin and the river below is so soothing to hear. Nice privacy with surrounding greenery. Excellent communication when needed, and very good amenities including kitchen which is very well organized and well stocked with essential items, good beds and nice linens. The shower head is excellent. The living room is cozy with a nice gas fireplace. The only suggestion is it would be a great benefit to have a overhead vent fan in kitchen for cooking. "

Unfortunately, the listing's photo of the staircase leading to the space is outdated and should be updated so that future guests will know that there are no risers and the steps themselves are "see through" grates. "We had a great weekend at the Parlor. The owner was great and communication was easy and she was very responsive. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay at the lovely vacation rental. "

"The location is absolutely perfect. Many restaurants near by, Safeway, Gas, Pete’s Pool event center. The home is very family friendly. The kids had things to do to occupy their time while in the home. The home was very comfortable for the seven of us that stayed. "

"5 stars overall!! Great property, even when the Mtn. is hidden. Funky house that’s fun to be in. Dates kitchen that’s sporadically stocked re. Glassware and cooking utensils. A couple of the mattresses could use updating. The check in instructions were incorrect and the contact confirmed the wrong information. Figured it out in the rain but hey, it’s Washington. All around a great experience. "
