"This place feels like home! I left things at home and they had stocked up on razors, medicine, toothbrush and other necessities! This place was far beyond what I expected. They make you feel like you never left home. Words can’t express how much the owners care about the people that rent their property! Please if you need to rent a spot choose them! "We needed a place to disconnect and enjoy some downtime. This was perfect. The lake was so calm and we loved watching the birds. It was a little too chilly to take the kayaks out but I know it would have been an amazing way to see the local wildlife. The proximity to Akron made it an easy trip to see the local sites, too! Definitely worth the trip. "

"The title does it justice, "Slice of heaven". It is a pleasantly relaxing property (after getting settled in). Upon entering the upper gate there is a steep decent on the beautiful rock slab stairs. It is much like hiking going down and up especially. After opening the front door you find the bedrooms, two with a beautiful view of the lake! "The place was clean and very spacious. The beds were really comfortable. We didn’t use the shower or any appliances. We loved the neighborhood and enjoyed walking around looking at houses and gardens. We also loved that it was a short walk to many restaurants and other businesses and the feel of the town was friendly and relaxed. I didn’t bring my dog but if you do, there’s a small yard out back and even a leash on a hook by the door. "
