"This is a beautiful house high in the mountains 24 minutes from Carmel Valley. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, large and up to date. The kitchen has everything that you need. The huge porch is overlooking the Carmel river so you can hear the water as it travels past the house. The hot tub is an added bonus. We did not want to leave the moment we arrived. Thank you, Daniel."

"This is great location and not at all far from Carmel-by-the-sea. The shops, wine tasting, and restaurants were enjoyable. The view from the VRBO is impressive!!! The winding valley drives up the mountain was scenic. Affordable valley golf courses and wineries are also close by. The house was clean and the hot tub was great overlooking the valley. Morning coffee and evening wine on the deck was enjoyable during our stay in March. The location is so quiet and isolated other than the morning farm...

"We had such an amazing time staying at the Little Gem! The place is a total hidden gem–super cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful redwoods and oaks. It felt like our own little peaceful retreat, but still close enough to explore all the cool spots in Big Sur and Carmel.The cabin itself is really charming with a comfy bed, tub for soaking, and a kitchen that had everything we needed. "The Forrest Cottage is the perfect place to stay in Big Sur! A cozy cabin situated in the woods, the place feels very private and has private hiking trails to a beautiful view of the rolling hills and ocean as well as a Redwood grove by a stream. It is also a great location for exploring Big Sur and the many state parks in this region. "

"This is a gem. Having stayed in a fair amount of mountain homes, this one is exceptional. Views to die for, rooms situated to provide the greatest effect, tastefully appointed, and remote. Private. Such a cool place — we loved it! Thank you!"

"We stayed here for easier access to get to the raceway; however, it was not as close as it seemed due to the canyon roads that this location requires you to drive in order to reach the destination. The accommodation itself is clean and welcoming, just be careful when entering the side door at night as there are many unexpected steps and I almost face planted (my fault for not using a light). "This is the second time I’ve stayed here, and loved it all over again. This is a great choice for travelers who are out all day/evening, and those who like to stay put.
