"This place was very lovely. Beautiful atmosphere and very spacious cottage. Didn’t get to see the owners but really enjoyed their property. Loved having the coffee maker, comfy bed and awesome tub! I will definitely be back. "

"The location and the view were amazing! Such an abundance of wildlife! Deer, heard a fox, and the birds! Heron, ducks, geese, bluebirds, eagles- and as we were leaving found the eagle nest, next to the house as they came screeching in. Beautiful dark sky for star gazing. The house is good, beds comfy, had all the amenities and supplies. Struggled a bit with the wall heaters ended up using the portable heaters. It was a cold weekend. "We stayed for seven days. It was uncomfortable to only have two forks two spoons. We had to wash every time we ate. It felt like the space had been sitting a while. There were lots of spiderwebs. The fans had a coat of dust on them. That was sickening. This is my first negative review ever! I appreciated the beautiful Patuxent river and the quick response and communication with the owner. "Trey and his family should get a 10 star rating. I cannot describe how wonderful his place is. There was absolutely everything we could possibly need or want. The house is spotless and the views incredible. What a wonderful place! And yes, Trey always answered any questions i had immediately. Loved my little vacation there!"
