"Best sunset views anywhere! Very relaxing stay — exactly what was needed for a getaway with the kids. Well appointed house. Fun yard games. Close enough to drive to PawPaw or Cacapon for hiking or kayaking. But also just perfect for disconnecting, relaxing and enjoying the the show the sky puts on every evening!"

"This little cabin in the woods was in such a great location. We loved being both in a secluded location, but just a short drive to the river and not far from berkley springs to food/ supplies. We also took a day trip to winchester to shop. Loved the screened in porch to drink coffee and read."

"We had a great time even with the horrible fog and cloud cover the first two days. My dog loved it and we enjoyed the ability to get away from the hustle of city life. Hot tub at night was great. Pictures on the site are a little dated but overall highly recommend and plan on returning. "

"This property exceeded our expectations. This was a perfect summer cabin, absolutely fabulous decor throughout, so many cozy hangout spaces for our group of 8. We never felt crowded, and especially enjoyed the game area and enclosed porch. We brought kayaks and tubes for the river, and did the Paw Paw Tunnel Trail (highly recommend!). We did have one issue with the property but our host was quick to resolve. Definitely would recommend. "

"The house, the views, and amenities were exactly as described online. And, it exceeded what was written with a few surprise features - like bluetooth a enabled stereo system, zone speakers (inside and outside) that easily connects to your phone. Great Place!"

"An absolute amazing stay if you want to get away and live simply for some time. The property was clean and the communication was wonderful! We did have cell service through the wifi which I didn't expect and the wifi was actually really good, though we didn't need it. The hot tub was amazing and the host even confirmed the handyman checked it before our arrival. Venturing out, there are so many cool places to visit. "Cutest little house in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, and the very comfortable bed. It was quiet and relaxing in this home, and it was so nice to have the essentials provided (like coffee, sugar, creamer, garbage bags, paper towels, detergent). Very close to the brewery, and to the center of town. "

"Beautiful Property, very clean and well maintained. Very well stocked, had everything that you could possibly need. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed watching the wildlife from the large windows. Would definitely recommend staying."

"We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. "We really enjoyed our weekend here. The place was clean and comfortable, and a great base for outdoor activities and just staying put. There are neighbors, not too close, and it was very quiet. The whole process was easy, and we would definitely come back!"

We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances.
