El Artista is beautiful apartment situated in the picturesque village of Grazalema in the Sierra de Grazalema.
This 3 bedroom apartment sleeps up to 4 people. The apartment has its own independent entrance from the quieter rear street.
On the first floor there are two single bedrooms, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge with under floor electric heating and wood burning stove, television with DVD player, and a bathroom.
The top floor is accessed by an open plan staircase,( not suitable for young children) and here you will find the third bedroom with a double bed and
second bathroom, which also leads onto the roof terrace with magnificent views over the roof tops to the mountains beyond.
The apartment comes fully equipped with bedding and towels.
There is free WiFi internet access, an electric piano and a bluetooth laudspeaker.

Stayed in this lovely apartment to do some day hiking in Grazalema Park. The apartment is lovely and well equipped. Communication was good. We came in January, so the apartment is somewhat cold (us Canadians are used to cold outside, but not inside). There are a variety of heating options. They do take a little while to warm the place up, but it was doable (again, like Europeans are used to this). Sue taught us ‘everything you need to know’ about a pellet stove and all worked fine. Shower was great. Surrounding hiking also great. Town itself is lovely and generally quiet.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche Urlaub in Grazalema. Das Appartment war toll eingerichtet, alles was man benötigte, war vorhanden, darüber hinaus gab es jede Menge Informationsmaterial über Ort und Umgebung. Die Schlüsselübergabe am Treffpunkt klappte super ( das Objekt ist beim ersten Mal nicht einfach zu finden, wenn man das erste Mal in Grazalema ist). Die Kommunikation (auf Englisch )mit dem Vermieter klappte vom Tag der Buchung an reibungslos. Sollten wir wieder nach Grazalema fahren, werden wir wieder hier buchen - sehr empfehlenswert. The appartment was very well equipped, you can find all that you need, and additional there are a lot of information material about Grazalema and the surrounding. The appointment to get the key went easy ( the object is not easy to find if you are the first time in Grazalema). The communication ( in English ) with the landlord has run smoothly from the beginning after booking. If we return to Grazalema once again, we will rent here again - highly recommended. We werden enthousiast ontvangen. Gezellig appartement met veel kunst in een rustige omgeving met alle basisvoorzieningen. Fijne kachels die veel warmte gaven. Koffiezetapparaat alla Andalusie, langszaam...Mooi uitzicht vanaf het dakterras. Wij hadden daar van de ochtend tot 17:00 uur zon. Sfeervolle en grote slaapkamer. Eigenaar reageert snel op mailtjes en vragen. Grazalema leuk dorp in een mooie, groene omgeving. Je hebt daardoor wel meer kans op regen!

Alles sehr sauber, gute Betten ( das oben sollte etwas breiter sein, für 2 Leute zu klein) Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Grazalema ist ein toller Ort!

Wunderschöne Wohnung in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Besonders die kleine Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Dächer in die Sierra Grazalema hatte es uns angetan. Im oberen Schlafzimmer wird man durch einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang geweckt. Das Bett ist mit 140cm vielleicht etwas schmal, aber wir haben trotzdem sehr gut geschlafen. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, doch wenn man selbst kochen will, wird es für 4 Personen etwas schwierig. Eine Kaffeemaschine mit Filter wäre für deutsche Gäste sicher zu empfehlen. Rundherum haben wir uns nicht nur in der Wohnung auch in dem wunderschönen Ort sehr wohl gefühlt. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen unterschiedlichster Schwierigkeitsstufen.

Our family of four stayed at "El Artista" for a week in mid July 2018. The apartment is very comfortable, very stylishly furnished and with a terrace that has a view across the village rooftops and the Sierra beyond - quite breathtaking. On a purely practical note, the kitchen is very well-equipped and the WiFi very reliable (better than at home !) Jack, the owner, gave us very helpful advice on places to visit. We very much hope to return at some point in the future.

Die Wohnung ist zwar von außen unscheinbar aber innen toll. Insbesondere sind zu erwähnen die Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den Ort und die Berge sowie die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Es gab z. B. eine Saftpresse, so dass wir jeden Morgen frisch gepressten Orangensaft genießen konnten. Vielleicht zwei kleine Anregungen: eine Kaffeemaschine für Deutsche Kaffeetrinker und "bessere" Weingläser. Zu Fuss sind es nur wenige Minuten bis in das hübsche Dorfzentrum mit Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Erwähnenswert sind auch der herzliche Empfang durch den Vermieter und der Begrüßungssekt im Kühlschrank.

This is a great apartment with lots of charm. Jack was a wonderful host and very helpful. The apartment is very clean comfortable and well appointed. Grazalema is charming and not too touristy. Caution , Grazalema it is not easy to find and don't try to arrive after dark like we accidently did. Distance take much longer than expected bc of mountain roads. We highly recommend this apartment.

Schönes, sauberes Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht über Dorf und Landschaft von der Dachterrasse. Komplett und geschamckvoll eingerichtet. Liegt sehr zentral, aber dennoch sehr ruhig. Super Ausgangspunkt zu vielfältigen Wanderungen. Gastgeber sehr hilfreich, da wir später ankamen, als geplant.

La casa El Artista di Jack Neilson è una delle più belle che abbia mai prenotato in anni di peregrinazioni ovunque. Su due piani c'è tutto quello che uno vorrebbe, dagli attrezzi da cucina agli strumenti per lavare stendere e stirare. I letti sono ottimi, le stanze da letto arredate con gusto, i due bagni (2!) sono ben forniti e ovviamente pulitissimi. Dal terrazzino c'è una vista invidiabile e tutta la città è facilmente raggiungibile. Il proprietario ha fornito molte indicazioni pratiche per un ottimo soggiorno a Grazalema e nella Sierra. Non avrei potutto sperare di meglio a un prezzo ragionevole, per la propeità che ha messo a disposizione

Meine Frau und ich verbrachten eine sehr schöne Woche in Grazalema. Das Wetter war etwas kühl aber die Sonne schien die ganze Woche. Wir führten deshalb fast die ganze Woche Wanderungen durch. Es war jeden Tag wieder ein Vergnügen, wenn wir nach der Wanderung in das schöne und komfortable Apartement zurückkamen.

Appartement très propre et lumineux, bien équipé. Bien que nous n'ayons pu rencontrer le propriétaire, il avait ajouté couvertures et chauffage d'appoint pour notre arrivée. Beau poêle à bois avec bois fourni pour tout le séjour et qui a rendu la pièce de vie encore plus agréable. Un village très agréable avec de petits commerces et épicerie ; tout se fait à pied. De belles visites et randonnées à proximité. L'appartement qui nous a le plus enchanté lors de notre périple en Andalousie. nous reviendrons sûrement dans cette location si nous retournons dans la région.

This apartment is perfect! Modern, stylish, nestled away in a gorgeous village with stunning views over the mountains from the bedroom balcony. Very well equipped with the added treat of original art on display throughout. 5 stars +!
