"We loved everything about this house! It sits on top of a hill with a huge dining window overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance, with blooming rhododendrons and a visiting hummingbird drinking from the feeder. It was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen was the best-stocked kitchen out of any of the probably 30 houses we've rented on vacations. "Beautiful mountain view from the front porch! We saw lots of deer. The beds were comfortable! It has a really nice fireplace that was easy to turn on/off. We spent a day at Tweetsie Railroad for Heritage Weekend which was 30 miles away from the cabin. We traveled to Mt. Airy to visit the home place of Andy Griffith which was one and a half hours away. We didn't bring pets but it is pet friendly and would consider it for another stay."

"The cabin and surrounding area were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub!! There's just nothing quite like enjoying your morning coffee from the porch swing while watching nature wake up with you. Our hosts provided everything one needs to make yourself at home for the length of your stay. We had no problem getting in contact when we did have a question and they were very prompt. We absolutely loved staying here and plan to return as soon as we are able!! "
