"We were a Dad, an adult son and hi two friends, so 4 large guys. The Happy Traveler Cabin was super clean, well stocked and roomy, we were very comfortable. Nicole did a great job and was easy to communicate with. We visit Starve Rock/Matthiesson/Ottawa several times a year, and this location was perfect. I posted a Turkey visitor in the backyard"

"We stayed for several days while hiking Starved Rock. Pros:-the space was pretty clean-the beds were very comfortable -there were sufficient dishes for basic cooking-the location was convenient -it was quiet other than the intermittent train noisesCons:-we did not receive check in information until we asked for it (the host was responsive after that though!)-we were given exactly enough linens for the two of us (e.g. 2 bath towels and 4 washcloths). -the dishes for meals were sparse (e.g. 2...
