"The cottage was beautiful, very clean with everything we needed. It was so peaceful! Hot tub was brilliant, so relaxing first thing in the morning watching the sunrise. Hosts were fantastic, great communication and really helpful.
There were so many lovely places to visit in the surrounding area. Our favourites were Pately Bridge, Brimham Rocks and Stump Cross Caverns.
We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to everyone!"

"A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away."

"This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum....
Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery. On closer inspection, there wasn't even a battery fitted!! I offered to replace it if the owner couldn't arrange it for...

"In peaceful Nidderdale - just what we needed for a quiet slow-paced break. The cottage was well-appointed and homely (which can't be said about a lot of self-catering places we've stayed). Simon was friendly and welcoming as were the ginger retrievers and the two inquisitive cats. :-)"
