  • Welcome to Granity’s cosy cottage!
    Just three minutes from the surf, it’s the perfect spot to relax, listen to birdsong, take long beach walks, or soak in the outdoor bath under the starry night sky.
    Within walking distance, you’ll find a craft shop and gallery, op shop, museum, and two food caravans. A short drive takes you to the local tavern, café, dairy, and swimming pool. Granity is the ideal base to explore all that northern Buller has to offer.

    This property features two bedrooms within the main cottage and a spacious sleep-out. It offers a newly renovated bathroom and a fireplace for the cooler winter days. A sunny outdoor area provides an inviting space for relaxation and enjoyment.

Great stay loved the place, had half rain half shine weather great covered outdoor areas for cooking/ living even in wet!Trains and road were super close but not a problem.

cute & cosy little bach

we stayed for 4 days over Christmas 2023 - such a cute cosy little bach and great location to explore the surrounding area. nice and quiet and close to the beach, we will stay again! special thanks to the hosts for the Christmas decorations and treats!

Relaxing stay in Granity

We had a lovely stay in Granity. The house was lovely, clean and tidy. Had a bit of rain while there, so the covered outdoor areas where fantastic. Outdoor bath was great too.

Cosy comfy cottage.

Would definitely stay again. We loved the trains rumbling past out the back. Sleepout was warm and comfortable but needed a mirror

Characterful comfortable bach

Pretty much as expected and we enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the proximity to the beach. Trains were more frequent than advised but they did not trouble us. The resident weka was a plus. Would recommend this property for a delightful whimsical West Coast stay.

Couldn't have been better!

We had an amazing stay, the house is very homely and warm. The outdoor bath was incredible! Great communication with owners. We will definitely be back!! ♡♡

Cute bach

We had the most restful stay in this cute retro bach. Everything we needed was provided. Adored the outdoor fire and bath. The covered outdoor eating area was perfect for rainy day dining. Extremely cosy indoors with fire. Even managed a wave from the train driver passing by!!!!!Highly recommend for a getaway.
