"We had a wonderful stay! The owners have taken great care in providing a wonderful place to share with others. It looks like almost all the previous complaints have been fixed or handled. The driveway was long, but not that steep and without any recent rain we had no issues getting non 4x4 's vehicles down there. My only suggestion would be maybe invest in a water softening system for the whole house.The mineral smell while showering was noticable. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful...

"We go to the Gold Bar area a few times a year, but this was our first time at this location. We happened to pick a very stormy weekend, but between showers it was great to watch a couple of river otters play on the bank of the river from the large windows in the living room"

"The cabin was great. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace and the peace and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was luxurious. The hot tub was on and ready to go when we arrived and seemed well taken care of. We will definitely be booking another stay. "

"The cabin was everything we had hoped for. Away from the city but still close enough that we were able to take multiple day trips. Finding it was easy. We arrived to a clean and tidy cabin, our only complaint here is that there were A LOTA of fruit flies during our stay, so much that we actually stopped and got a couple traps. "We just wanted a quiet get away for a couple of days close to the North Cascades. We had hoped to see the fall foliage but it turned out we came a couple weeks early for the best of that. We stopped by the ranger station there in Darrington, and then drove up to Rockport and on to Newhalem to see what fall leaves we could. The cabin was quiet, clean and cozy. We loved sitting in the hot tub on the back deck and also sitting beside the Sauk River in the back of the property."
