The dining room is open plan with the well-equipped kitchen, which has a large range cooker and breakfast area. There is also a separate utility room. On the first and second floors you will find six spacious bedrooms, two of which have en-suite facilities. There is also a family bathroom on both upper floors as well as a separate toilet on the first floor. To the rear of the property, accessed via 11 steps, there is a private lawned south-facing garden with patio and built-in BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. The resort of Grange-over-Sands, which has a good selection of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants is just half a mile away and with plenty of parking at the accommodation you can leave the car behind and enjoy the amenities on foot. Perfect for those who love the outdoors, Grange Fell is located on the Sustrans Cycle Route, which provides easy access to the Cistercian Way. There are also lots of lovely walks from the doorstep and Grange Fell Golf Club is just a few minutes’ walk up the hill. Grange-over-Sands is a great base from which to explore the Lake District National Park. The quaint village of Cartmel with its famous race course, sticky toffee pudding and the Michelin starred restaurant L’Enclume is just a 5-minute drive away, or a half-hour walk over the fells. Kendal, Bowness and Windermere are all within a 20-minute drive. Beach 15 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
