The views of the ocean from this family home are a must see! The house is beautiful and well stocked with all of the essentials. Beds are very comfortable. Location is perfect with beach access crossover #16 right next door. It is near the center of town, close to a grocery store, gas station and restaurants. On our large balcony you can choose a spot to sunbathe or relax in the shade while enjoying the sounds of the waves and the ocean breeze. The kitchen is open plan with beautiful ocean views! There are 3 tables indoors for feasting or playing games! There is room to grill on balcony with 2 large tables in the shade for outside dining upstairs. For a downstairs option there is a deck for grilling and a table for dining as well. Sipping coffee or wine in our overlarge rocking chairs to watch the Sunrises and Sunsets are the best therapy you could ask for! We also have Ocean views from the master bedroom and a private balcony if you want to step out to stargaze! The Master Suite also includes a an extra large handicapped friendly walk-in shower!
We have Wireless internet with a big flat screen TV in living room and in master suite! Two added luxuries are an Ice machine for hot days and a Fireplace for cold nights!! An Elevator is available (arrangements must be made in advance)
In addition to the 4 full baths in the house, this location also features an outdoor, open sky shower. Sol et terre is our family home where we enjoy a surf teeming with fish, crabs and shrimp! The kids have accesss to a shaded sandpit with tons of toys and a swing and hammoch! Sol et terre is the PERFECT playground for kids and adults.As Louisiana's only inhabited barrier island, Grand Isle is a true paradise for outdoor enthusiasts:

Memorable trip

This place had exactly what we needed to accommodate 10+ adults. Lots of room and great views. We did lots of eating, drinking, laughing and dancing. Played cards, watched football and walked on the beach. Weather wasn’t the best but didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time. We will definitely be back.

Recovery Vacation

This place was the perfect location for our first trip to Grand Isle! The camp was incredibly relaxing. Lots of privacy & comfortable for everyone. The view was amazing. The crabbing & fishing were even better. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend ⭐️

Great vacation spot for big family

Very nice place with the beach almost in your back yard. The location is awesome, grocery store and gas station right across the street. Would definitely rent again.

VERY POOR SERVICE and False advertisement

We arrived to the camp on a Wednesday and notified the owner that the A/C in the downstairs room which held multiple beds was broken. After day three she finally sent someone with a new AC unit. The unit was NEVER installed and thus we had to buy air mattresses to have enough room for our children to sleep. It advertised as sleeping 21 and this was FALSE. I tried to contact the owner multiple times and she simply ignored me. So if you decide to stay here, I hope everything works because if not, you are ON YOUR OWN. Extremely disappointing for the price.

great location

This property is huge! So much space to give everyone privacy, yet accommodating to bring everyone together for dining and entertainment, We loved the games and access to a big TV to watch our hometown basketball game! The access to the beach was a huge win! The walkway is right next to the house. The beds were super comfortable and each room is equipped with its own window a/c unit (in addition to the central air) We did a lot of cooking and were impressed with the cookware that was available. Also the sunrise from the balcony, truly amazing!
