"The property was clean and well kept. I wish we had a few days to stay, but we were just stopping to break up the trip home from a beach vacation. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe as it was surrounded by what seemed to be a family neighborhood. Next time we will stay for a few days and take in Shreveport."

"I recently stayed at The Heart of Huxley Bay fishing lake house, and I have to say, it was a truly lovely experience. The house itself has that cozy cabin vibe, decorated with warmth and a touch of charm that immediately makes you feel at home. "We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was stocked extremely well and the description was very accurate. We enjoyed the privacy and the peacefulness. The fishing was good also."

"My family stayed here for 2 days attending a funeral in town. The accommodations are just as pictured which is rare! The host communicated regularly. The location is convenient to restaurants, shopping and nearby attractions via vehicle. Would definitely choose this place again!"
