Great house, well located

A spacious, well appointed and very clean home in a great location for our weekend activities. The hosts have thought of everything, from a fully equipped kitchen to local menus to extra towels and blankets. We look forward to a return visit.

Granby home with deck

My group stayed for 3 nights while we were at a horse show in Northampton. It is a lovely home that accommodated are group well. The outside lights were on when we got there, so helpful on a very dark and rainy night. There were so many extra towels, the house was so spacious and clean. The kitchen was well appointed with things to cook. I hope that we get to use the outside deck we return. We are looking forward to returning in September.

I’m very disappointed with what went on for my niece and nephews. The heat did not work. Thank God I didn’t go because I would’ve left. The heat was on 60. They tried to raise the heat and it didn’t work. They got in touch with the host and the host gave him some ideas and they did it and it didn’t work. My niece finally got disgusted with the host and didn’t call him again. Therefore, I would never stay there again.

Wedding weekend

My son was getting married at Valley View Farm in Haydenville and I needed a home for my family for a few days. The Granby house was reasonably priced, clean with lots of room and very well stocked with everything we needed. Love lots of mugs in the kitchen! Plenty of bathrooms for my 10 family members to get ready for the wedding. I brought a tension rod and curtains to hang for the living room bedroom/ much better for privacy. Not a lot around but a really nice market down the road which was very convenient. We had a very enjoyable stay. Thanks for the complementary wine too!

Granby House

We enjoyed our stay. There were many amenities in the kitchen and made it easy for our meals. I didn’t give a five stars cause there was dust in various areas. Overall the house was very lovely and accommodated our needs quite nicely.

VRBO rental

We had a wonderful family stay. We were there for a local family wedding. There's plenty of room & kitchenware. The master bedroom shower is very small though for such a huge bathroom! We saw a black bear in your backyard - he was very comfortable walking around and suggest to have your garbage cans in a different kind of bin :) but he was fun to watch! Overall a very good place to stay.

Great Spot For UMass Visitors

This was a terrific spot if you're a parent visiting your UMass student. The location was very convenient, plenty of room at the house, good for a group. The pictures on the website accurately depicted the property (not always the case). If our daughter wasn't graduating, we would probably book it again.

Clean and welcoming!

The checkin in process and communication was clear and easy. We arrived and the house was very clean and welcoming. Hosts put out some treats for us which was very nice. We had all the kitchen equipment and even spices and paper towels we could need. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable.

Extremely pleasant weekend

Our children and their children spent Christmas weekend at the house, which was beautifully decorated for the holiday. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a generous living room and a well-equipped kitchen with two tables for eating, one in the kitchen and one in the adjacent formal dining room. Plentiful space for parking meant people could come and go as they pleased without a lot of moving cars around. The popular Atkins market was only a few minutes' drive away. Very enjoyable stay.

Nice house with views of trees

A nice house and was more than enough for the four adults that stayed here. The house is set up for many more people (beds in the downstairs family room area but I question how comfortable that would be --there is limited hot water and signs are posted in every bathroom about not using too much toilet paper. A couple of things didn't work (e.g., fireplace), and road noise was surprisingly loud from the main bedroom not deal breakers, but makes it just shy of 5 stars. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking and the dining room is lovely for a sit down dinner.

Great Space for families

Enough space for all the grandparents and us for graduation. Everyone had their own bedroom. The kitchen is great! The deck is fabulous. Excellent location for graduation. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful home

We really liked the house and specially the kitchen which had all you can think of. Location was good for us since we were there to attend to a funeral. Nice hiking trails nearby but you would have to drive there. The road where the house is located, is quite busy and there isn't any room for pedestrians. We really had a wonderful time here. Only thing that I would change is the heating. House got really cold during the night. I tried to chance the settings, but somehow nighttime temperature went always down to 52f. That is too cold to wake up for my taste.

Great space for large family group

We stayed at this property for a wedding in the area. The house was very spacious and well outfitted with nearly everything we needed. There was ample space for everyone to have their own space. The only issue we had was with the heat. It was in the 50s in the house when we arrived as the nest thermostat is automatically set quite low at a certain time of day. It was frigid out so the house was cold and didn’t come up to an acceptable temp for several hours. Then. If we were out and unable to override the drop in set temp right away, the house for cold again. Other than that, it was a great stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful Home and Area

The home was beautifully detailed and very clean. It is in a lovely area, very rural, but not far from necessities. The only negatives that I have are not anything that would keep us from renting again. The grill was rusty, so we were unable to use it and we were under the impression there was a fire pit. It appears there was one but it was covered with plants/trees so I didn't feel it was safe. Like I said, really nothing big. I will say that the kitchen is amazing and VERY well stocked!! Granby house graduation weekend

Stayed at this lovely house for my daughters graduation at UMass Amherst. Very easy check in and out. House was well equipped with anything we may need. Very clean and spacious! Would highly recommend.
