Beautiful Mountain Home Close to Everything.

Beautiful, large, mountain home that is perfect for single or multi-family getaways. Located on three-plus acres of wooded privacy a mile off Highway 40 between Winter Park and Granby. You will be close to all that Grand County has to offer.

The main level offers functionality and beauty - a large great room with breathtaking views and plenty of sun, a dining room that seats eight comfortably plus two at the kitchen bar, a fully-equipped and recently updated kitchen, as well the kids' room with two twin/full-size bunk beds, DVD player and Nintendo games.

On the upper level is three over-sized bedrooms and a loft. The master offers a private deck, bathroom, and king-size bed. Bedroom Two has a queen and Bedroom Three two twins (that can be pushed together to make a king) and share a full bathroom. The loft has plenty of room for board games, as well as an incredibly comfortable futon for an additional sleeping area.

The lower level, you will find the big screen, stereo, foosball and game room and bar, as well as your own private hot tub to enjoy a relaxing soak under the Colorado star-filled sky.

Looking to enjoy some of Colorado's best winter sports? There is downhill skiing and snowboarding at Winter Park, Mary Jane, and Granby Ranch - all within 20 minutes. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sleigh rides, and ice skating are all available at 5000-acre YMCA of the Rockies, just two miles away. You and the kids can even enjoy some sledding, right outside the front door.

Have other reasons to be in the mountains? Then tee it up at any of the three golf courses within ten minutes of the house. You can also enjoy the many other activities close by, including gold-medal fishing on the Colorado River, Rocky Mountain National Park wildlife, and other sightseeing, or just curl up with a good book and watch the wildlife from the living room or deck.

The best view

The views and the location of the property is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of space for everyone. Only thing is the quality of beds probably are due for replacement. Other than that the winter time view and snow hill right outside the balcony made for the best trip ever! Thanks Tom!

Beautiful

Our stay was made perfect with the house and hot tub. All bedrooms were comfortable. Room for the ones not skiing to play at the house. The kids loved playing in the snow at the house espicially with the sleds provided. Would suggest more towels and silverware.

The Perfect Stay!

We had a wonderful visit on this beautiful mountain property; so easy to be there and unwind. The views are stunning, the space is incredibly comfortable and the location is close to everything yet feels a million miles away. If you are looking to spend quality time with family while being close to all the mountains offer, this is your place!

Totally unloved property

This property has so much potential but came up short most everywhere. With no AC we wanted to open all the windows (91 degrees when we arrived). Major ones had no handle with which to open them and other major ones had no screens so we had bees and other bugs all over the house. Be sure to bring TP because you only get the one roll in each bathroom for four nights/days and six adults. And the sheets in the queen room were so pilled we had to turn them upside down to even sleep on them. Towels were limited and very old and rough. One pot holder in the kitchen had a big hole it it which we discovered after my husband burned his hand badly. We threw it away so no one else will get burned. Its obvious that everything old is brought to this property. Outside there were so many TALL weeds and thistles that you couldn't even walk around the property. Old, dead and unused items trashed under the upper porch. Porch off the master had a very dangerous hole in it. And any outdoor furniture is very old and worn or eaten by wildlife. Nintendo set up didn't even work nor did the tv in the basement. Upsides: lots of fans (thank god) and a nice hot tub. Layout is great and like I said, so much potential but so little love or attention given to this property. I wonder how long it has been since the owner has even been there.

Golf Weekend

This house is in a great location between Fraser and Granby. We really enjoyed the deck with a table on the south side of the house big enough for everyone to sit around and enjoy the mountain evenings. A great movie set up in the basement along with the outdoor hot tub makes for easy relaxation.

Spring Break Ski trip

Wow - what a great week! Sunny, cloudy, snowy, powder... we had it all. Thoroughly enjoyed your home, thank you for sharing. Grandma loved the views and the hot tub. Teens loved the air hockey and foos ball. Dogs loved getting walked each day and playing. And the parents loved being able to relax after skiing and cook meals together for our daughter's 17th birthday and spring break week. We had one glitch and our owner/manager immediately took care of the hot tub temp - great service as well. We loved it and hope to come again in the summer.

Even better than the post

We rented the house for a family Christmas gathering. Undertone came from other states/countries. This house is PERFECT for large families, with ample space to spread out when it’s time to escape the togetherness 😁 The pictures do not do it justice. We were so happy, I found it hard to leave. Also, e we had a moose family that visited the back yard for most of our stay. Simply sublime.

Homestead Hills

Well the house is a beautiful house and the location is amazing, it could have been cleaner. There was dust on everything and we found a dead mouse when we checked in. The kitchen could use some sharp knives and storage for left overs as well. Overall we enjoyed our time at the house.

Beautiful home and location!

We just spent a great four days at this home! It was a very spacious home with beautiful views! It had all the amenities that we needed! The kids loved all the board games and video games! The hot tub was great to use during the cool evenings! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook! Would highly recommend staying here!

Better than listing pictures

Wonderful mountaintop home overlooking wide view of valley below with beautiful sunrises. More spacious then pictures show. Finished basement has another full bath, laundry room adjoining a family room with bar, sectional, another TV, foosball and air hockey games leading to outside patio with lovely newer looking hot tub. Upstairs has a loft area with futon, games etc in addition to the 4 bedrooms listed. Would definitely stay here again. Responsive host!

Beautiful property!

Plenty of room to spread out and to gather in this awesome mountain home! Tom is very accommodating and quick to reply. The 1.5 mile loop through the Homestead neighborhood is perfect for a walk with the dog! Great hot tub and beautiful views all around! This is a fantastic property with a kind and efficient owner!
