  • Esta idílica casa de piedra del siglo XIX. Century es el lugar de vacaciones perfecto para todos los que buscan aislamiento y naturaleza perfecta. La propiedad ha sido cuidadosamente reconstruida en una hermosa casa familiar, al tiempo que conserva el patrimonio histórico. La ubicación mágica en la ladera de la montaña, en una zona pintoresca típica de la antigua Dalmacia, le ofrece una maravillosa vista panorámica del paisaje, así como una magnífica vista del mar y las islas.
    El interior, una exitosa mezcla de lo moderno y lo antiguo, crea una impresión cálida y acogedora. La propiedad consta de dos edificios interconectados con tres habitaciones con sus propios baños. Además de la moderna cocina y sala de estar, esta acogedora casa también cuenta con una cocina de verano bien equipada y de aspecto arcaico que se abre a la terraza donde puede disfrutar de su café matutino sin despertar a los demás. Además, esta cocina y la terraza ofrecen el refugio perfecto del calor del mediodía.
    Una piscina, una ducha al aire libre y una parrilla también ofrecen la comodidad de una casa de vacaciones contemporánea. Aquí puedes pasar los días junto a la piscina o con un buen libro a la sombra.
    Si está buscando alguna variedad para las actividades en la casa, puede practicar senderismo o ciclismo en las colinas y montañas de los alrededores. Los huéspedes pueden utilizar las bicicletas de forma gratuita y se pueden encontrar en el garaje de la casa. En cinco minutos estás en una hermosa playa de guijarros o en uno de los encantadores pueblos vecinos, donde puedes encontrar tiendas, supermercados y restaurantes.
    Este tranquilo oasis en el antiguo pueblo de Zaostrog es un excelente punto de partida para las excursiones, ya que está a medio camino entre Split y Dubrovnik. Necesita 90 minutos en coche a ambas ciudades, así como a las soleadas islas de Hvar o Pelješac, donde puede disfrutar de una de las famosas bodegas locales.
    Villa Mara es la casa ideal para unas vacaciones con amigos o familiares, incluso a principios de verano y finales de verano.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Mara! Alles war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig über der Stadt, weit ab von den Massen und super schön.Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Vermieter Mario, Check-In und Check-Out hat er persönlich übernommen und uns immer wieder bei Fragen geholfen und Tipps für den Urlaub gegeben, die sehr hilfreich waren! 100% Empfehlung.

Traumhaftes Haus in Traumlage

Das Haus liegt wunderschön in den Bergen über Zaostrog mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Meer und die Berge. Es ist im Haus alles vorhanden, was man braucht. ( Spülmittel, Seife, Toilettenpapier). Mario ist super nett, immer erreichbar und sehr gastfreundlich! Das Haus ist auch ideal für den Urlaub mit Teenager, da diese im oberen Zimmer ein Reich für sich haben. Der beheizte Pool hatte eine angenehme Temperatur um auch mal Abends zu schwimmen. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen.

Croatia Getaway Stay

Everything about the property was fantastic. We had a very relaxing stay - our host was easy to reach and accommodating. He offered a great suggestion for a delicious seafood restaurant. I loved the atmosphere surrounding the property. It was quaint, a bit isolated but without noise or distractions. One thing I would suggest is that you keep food in sealed containers as there are tiny ants that will form in an instant if any food crumbs are left behind. Knowing this is easy to control as long as you are aware to keep things sealed. I highly recommend staying here. The view is spectacular too!

Perfekt stay! Beautiful house and super friendly and helpful owner Mario! He helped us out with grocery shopping, warmed the pool extra since it was a bit cold outside! Very clean and nice style! Recommend it very much

Quiet and beautiful location

Located just 5 minutes from the main road, supermarket and the town of Zaostrog is this nice and perfectly outfitted villa. It is a very quiet and peaceful area, up in the mountains and with lovely nature all around. The villa has all the amenities you will need.

Top-Lage zwischen Bergen und Meer!

Dieses sehr gut ausgestattete Haus befindet sich in einer traumhaften Lage mit einem sehr interessanten geschichtlichen Hintergrund! Wir haben zwei sehr schöne und entspannte Wochen am Haus/Pool/Strand/Ortskern verbracht! Tipp: abends auf der Terrasse sitzen und einfach den Ausblick runter zum Meer bei einem Glas Wein oder einer riesigen Wassermelone von ortsansässigen Obsthändler genießen! Ein großes Lob auch an Mario, der stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war und so Einiges zum Ort und seiner Geschichte zu erzählen wusste! Man könnte noch viel schreiben, die Kurzversion: TOP!

Beautiful villa

Lovely villa, exactly as described. Great view, cool property up above town. Mario was very responsive and helped us with anything we had questions about. As with all rentals, it helps to have cell service when arriving to communicate timing with the host. Of note, the heated pool gets to 27-28 C, which would likely be comfortable when the weather is nice but was not warm enough to use if the weather is cool or rainy at the start of the off-season.

Tolles, ruhig gelegenes Haus, toller Gastgeber

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir konnten richtig gut abschalten und haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Mario hat viele Tipps gegeben für Ausflüge und Sehenswertes in der Nähe. Außerdem hat er uns Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants empfohlen. Wenn wir etwas brauchten, war er jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar oder sofort vor Ort verfügbar. Wir würden wieder buchen :)

Perfekte ungestörte Unterkunft!

Alles sehr sauber, gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet (Internet, Bluetooth-Box, Küchenutensilien, Fahrräder). Pool und Terrasse sind super. Wunderschöne Aufteilung des Hauses. Große Küche und Grill. Sehr schneller, netter und zuverlässiger Kontakt. Gerne wieder!

Das Haus in wunderschöner Lage mit traumhaften Blick ins Tal und Meer ist einfach entzückend und hat alles was man für einen entspannenden Urlaub benötigt. Mario ist einfach toll und immer sofort zur Stelle. Sehr schönes Haus in super Lage.

Wunderschöne Umgebung und traumhaftes Haus

Wir hatten sehr erholsame Sommerferien in dem schönen Steinhaus in Zaostrog. Für alle Urlauber die Ruhe und eine wunderschöne Landschaft und einen schönen Strand bevorzugen, ist das Haus perfekt. Man findet alles was man braucht im Haus. Alles ist top gepflegt und sehr sauber. Mario ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber gewesen, der alle Fragen und Wünsche sofort beantworten konnte und erfüllt hat. Alles in allem uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen - besonders gut für einen gemeinsamen Familienurlaub geeignet. Wir hoffen, dass wir noch einmal wieder kommen können. Vielen Dank für Alles.

Traumurlaub Ende Juni in Zaostrog

Wir waren zu viert für 10Tage in der Villa Mara und hatten einen superentspannten Urlaub. Es war alles vorhanden und die gute Seele des Hauses ( in unserem Fall Mario: Danke nochmal! ) war nur einen Anruf entfernt um etwaige Probleme sofort zu lösen. Gastfreundlichkeit war Spitze( Wir bekamen sogar ein kleines Begrüssungsgeschenk) Alles in allem absolut zu empfehlen für Leute die einen ruhigen Urlaub wollen.

Very nice area in the old village. Nice place to visit Dubrovnik and the Hvar and Brac island. Is was good to get very good vegetable and nice bead produce by a family in teh Village

Beautiful villa with everything you need for the perfect holiday!

My daughters and I enjoyed the perfect holiday at Villa Mara. Matko was a wonderful and accessible host. We thoroughly enjoyed the vegetables, olive oil, delicious homemade bread and local delicacies (thank you, Bozena!) that welcomed us on our arrival. The villa is beautiful. I loved that everything in the villa was spotless and new while designed in an authentic rustic style. There is a fabulous view of the valley, mountains and sea from the terrace. The pool is inviting and sparkling clean. The bedrooms were all very comfortable. We found the kitchens (two!) fully stocked and a pleasure to use. We also took advantage of the many options for dining out as the food throughout Croatia was delicious with excellent service and more than reasonable prices. We enjoyed being able to take amazing day trips to Dubrovnik and Hvar, while also spending some leisurely days luxuriating in the villa and taking in the local sights. This was our first visit to Croatia. The people were very friendly and the scenery was often breathtaking. Our only complaint is that the vacation was far too short. We would have loved to have spent more time here and hope to return. We can give our highest recommendation to this experience.

Amazing

We had a fantastic week here in Villa Mara. The house is lovely; mixing old world charm with all the modern facilities. The location is fab, as you have easy access to the sea but you are up in the hills, where is is quiet and with a beautiful view. Also Matko was extremely helpful. It was a great stay, very relaxing, and we would highly recommend this villa.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish

We spent 2 amazing weeks at Matko's beautiful villa in September and it was fabulous. The location, a mile or so up a winding road into the woods, is so peaceful and the views stunning from every angle. The villa itself is beautiful, modern, stylish and tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Matko himself is the most helpful and attentive host you could wish for and couldn't do enough for us, without being in any way intrusive.The bread and basket of vegetables he left for us were a lovely touch. He even organised us a table in a restaurant in the village on our arrival late at night and the minute we arrived, we knew we were in heaven. Everything is spotlessly clean and we had more clean towels, beach towels and sheets that we could possibly use. The village is very pretty as are the many others around this area and we found Croatia absolutely stunning along the whole coastline, as well as in land around the rivers and lakes. Out of all of the villa's around Europe that we have stayed in, this is my absolute favourite. We were so sad to leave and will definitely come again. Have already recommended it to many friends. Thanks Matko, you have done a great job.

Just wonderful

Villa Mara is stunning both inside and outside. Its wonderful location is peaceful and the views are breathtaking. It was hard to decide which way to look from the pool area; down the valley to Zaostrog, the sea and her islands or to the majestic mountains around the house. Both are fantastically inspiring. The old village is quiet and with just a few families living there so we didn't feel on our own but had complete privacy. It also has a natural spring just a hundred metres along the road and the water is sweet and cool. The house itself has been renovated with great care and attention to detail. Nothing had been forgotten to make our stay comfortable and easy. Everything in the house was finished tastefully and to a high standard with air conditioning in every room. It was just a short car journey to the beach where the owner Matko miraculously provided us with a parking space a few steps from the sea. Just one of many thoughtful things he did for us. Matko couldn't have been more generous and helpful; from fresh fish for our supper, to organising an 18th birthday cake for our son, to finding a boat to explore the coast for an afternoon, to advice on restaurants and activities, we were incredibly well looked after. Thank you Matko for it all and we wish you all the success that you deserve with this wonderful house. Hopefully one day we will be able to return- we would absolutely love to!
