"Located on the other side of Hallstatt, in the small town of Obertraun, this hotel offers a calm and serene environment. We booked a lake-view room and had an amazing view. The rooms are small but clean and well maintained. There is a café next door and a pizza place nearby. Breakfast was basic and not worth €18. There are benches by the lake where you can sit and enjoy the view. Hallstatt is about 10 minutes away by car, boat, or bus."

"This place is just a place for sleeping. The good part is that the room is big for more than 4 guests. Parking space is available. But amenities are insufficient. For examples, there is no conditioner for hire and water temperature is low. Furnitures are a mixed bag. If not for on-site parking, I will try differently places for stay. "

It was at 8:30 pm, so I went to the reception desk since the letter that we were given during check in earlier that night stated that the front desk was staffed till 9:00 pm. There was nobody there. "Charming hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful location with views facing the water on the 3rd floor. Lots of steps, so be aware if mobility is an issue but we absolutely loved it (and Hallstatt)!"
