"Good place for a couple, great position in the countryside but not too far from a pub and train station (20 minute walk). However cooking was a challenge: the kitchen is very sparsely equipped, there are 2 mugs, glasses, bowls, a few more plates, but that’s it. Barely any utensils ( unless you like mash, 2 potato mashers), and nothing you could use in the oven. ( interestingly this has been mentioned on another sites reviews since 2022 but Together Travel obviously don’t consider the addition of...

"The rooms were clean and adequate but dimly lit that I had to use my phone light sometimes to see what I needed. Telephone communication was abysmal. Several phone calls were met with voice mail, 20-25 minute wait and no answer, No return of messages. Constantly asking for communication through messages. I finally found a phone number on WhatsApp that I was able to connect.
The staff were magnifisant and very helpful.
The hotel had a cafeteria for food, snacks, tea and coffee. Food was very...

"Check-in advertised at 3pm but the room isn’t ready at 3. Reception staff tries to gaslight saying they are not responsible for that, claiming it’s not guaranteed as it depends on the housekeeping? Like huh? In the messages with the hotel they clearly say check-in is available starting from 3, there is no room for misinterpretation. 3pm sharp the room must be ready.
Breakfast is not worth the money, disgusting coffee and the yogurt had green mold on it. Upon reporting to the breakfast person he...

"Great property, super clean, was well stocked, and had everything we needed. Co-op was round the corner or we walked to the local Tesco. Would highly recommend! Thank you!"
