"This is a marvelous, unique cottage. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Will definitely book again.Just a few notes to be sure of before you book.1. The pathway could be difficult for any one with difficulty walking. The walkway is stone and is uneven in places. If you need a flat surface for walking the walkway maybe not work for you There are lots of great wagons to haul stuff down to the property.2. There are areas of the walkway that are not well lit. "Very clean, spacious and cozy. Host has everything to make you feel at home and welcomed- kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Would sleep quite a few people. Beautiful lake view. Train was not a problem at all- no horn location. Close to Redwing for shopping and good food."

"Chris was helpful when we had technical issues with the tv.We had a nice view of the river to enjoy. Chris helped us start a fire in the fireplace since we have never used one and there wasn’t any paper or kindling wood by the fireplace. Red Wing is a great place to visit to see fall colors and get apples. "
