"Our stay at the Davis Motel was great!!! It’s definitely got an old school vibe and reminded us of traveling as kids, haha. The welcome gift was much appreciated, and the laundromat onsite was a plus. The owner, Bill, was very helpful in recommending places to see in the area. "I have regularly stayed at Hampton Inns and those have been good overall, so will chalk this one to a one off. We had someone enter our room without authorization the first night we were there. Explanation from the manager, Brian, was that the room was not supposed to be given to a guest and that front desk "forgot" and put us in the room. The rationale given was that the room was deep cleaned and saved for someone with feather allergies, though it was clear that the all the bedding in the room...

"Staff was really nice and accommodating . Only disappointment was their pool being out of order. I had my whole family with bored teens with me and was too tired to go to their sister hotel down the street. I paid over $200 a night for a pool we couldn’t use."
