"After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a room that was remodeled motel room. It was musty, stains on carpet, old fridge and the door needed painting. The nice thing is once it gets dark, you don't see all the scuffs. The only good thing were the beds and linens. Even the towels and wash cloths needed replacing. I don't think I will return"

"We really enjoyed our stay in Hiltons newly remodeled Tapestry Hotel Martis Valley. Updated modern Rustic appeal was cozy and classy. Food was delicious and staff were all amazing and helpful. Our Suite and fireplace were romantic and cozy! We highly recommend this hotel as it is central to western Lake Tahoe for hiking, outdoor activities, museums, historical sites, restaurants and day tripping! Donner Lake, Truckee, Tahoe City, incline Village, beaches and more."

"Nice location AC unit did t work and the room was pretty hot. Little to no air circulation. Had to sleep with the door open it got so hot. (Yes, we had all 2 windows completely open.)"

"The room next door had a bath tub spa which was up against my rooms bed headboard When the spa tub was turned the noise and vibration was like a jet liner sitting on top of my room. This crazy load noise and vibration went on for and hour, before the folks next door turned it off. Then I was able to get to sleep. Terrible noise problem with spa tub."

"Only one elevator at complete end of corridor. Better directions inside hotel to rooms. Should be signs on different side of walls where eyes meet- ie stairways & exit doors"
