"We absolutely loved it here. Room was clean, easy accessible to the beach even though there was reconstruction going on outside of the hotel. Plenty of options around the resort and very close to everything in Myrtle Beach. Definitely would recommend"

"I really loved our stay. I noticed a large black pipe on the beach but after some research I understood why it was there. Didn’t damper anything on the trip. Loved the option of the ocean and the pools esp the kiddie splash area. Room was clean and I loved the Murphy bed. Def loved it better than the pull out sofa. Beach view was great. Didn’t get to try the on site bars or food but overall glad to have stayed. It was worth the 9 hour drive."

"I didnt like having to come downstairs to get more towels. People did not hold their dogs in the elevator. The elevator wait was ridiculous, it kept skipping the floor I was on. But overall I enjoyed the property and will be back!"

"First of all the room was very small It looks much bigger online the bedroom doesn’t even have a door no privacy whatsoever. The door to the balcony does not even lock, but it was a clean room. The pools had trash in them. There’s nowhere to park. You have to park across the road then there are homeless people all around your vehicles at night would not recommend Bluewater resort to anyone."

"I am currently in a dispute about the service, the charges, and my entire experience with this hotel during my stay July 10-12, 2026. I have been in communication with them over the past three weeks, and to date, there has been no resolution. I normally do not do reviews, as I recognize the damage that reviews can do to a business. However, this experience has rated the highest on my list of bad experiences and I have not had anyone to rectify the request for a refund. I would not recommend...

"The room was clean but the hotel halls smelled like weed, and the elevators had not air flow and was hotter then hot. We would stay again but they need to fix the issues."

"On arrival to the hotel, the cleanliness was horrible - trash throughout the property, trash all over the parking lot and in the hall to your room. Room had existing damage to the bathroom door, TV had damage to it, fridge was missing handle to the door, After a day or two we started seeing small roaches coming out at night throughout our room. Definitely an issue with this hotel. I guess the only positive was the proximity to the beach."

"Ac was super cold and great. Standard small room. Very modern and up to date. I stayed here 2 years straight. Great location however im traveling alone. Rooms are good size for solo trips or couples. I walked the strip it was nice. Alot of food and shops in walking distance."
