Summary:
Tucked into peaceful bushland in Mudgeeraba (Gold Coast Hinterland), this private ensuite studio stay at Hippocrates Health Centre is made for couples, solo travellers, work trips, travelling nurses, those in between homes and anyone who needs a proper exhale. Sleep easy in a comfy queen bed with your own retro cosy ensuite, then spend the day bouncing between birdsong, bush walks, a dip in the pool, a steam, and a friendly hit on the tennis court.
Or use this as your great value base for the Gold Coast hinterland. You’re close to local wildlife parks such as Hinterland Regional Park and also the big hitters: Springbrook, Binna Burra, Lamington National Park and Tamborine Mountain.
When it’s time for a local wander, pop into Mudgeeraba Village for a coffee, a browse at the bookshop, a massage, and food and clothes shopping. Finish the day with an easy dinner in the village, from Pangaat Indian to Lenny’s Pizza, Anekawa Japanese or Mudgee Thai.
Mudgeeraba has a charming village feel with food trails, markets, and heritage walks. If you like pottering around local spots, the Mudgeeraba Food & Art Trail is a great place to start.
And if you love a little soul food with your holiday, you can join in on wellness events as they happen. Check the Hippocrates website for the current event programme.
And yes, pets are welcome too (on approval) so your favourite sidekick doesn’t miss the escape.

Events and retreats (when scheduled)
Hippocrates is a working health center, so from time to time there may be wellness events, workshops, or retreat groups on the grounds. If anything is scheduled during your dates, I’ll always let you know before you book so you can choose what suits you. On non-event dates, it’s simply a peaceful bush stay with space to unwind. To see what’s coming up, visit the Hippocrates Health Centre website and check the Events section.
Want a peek at the atmosphere? You’ll find occasional event footage on Facebook. If you’re looking to run a small retreat or wellness weekend, feel free to enquire and we’ll can share options and availability.
Pet-friendly
Pets are welcome on approval for an additional fee. Because we’re surrounded by natural bushland, pets must be supervised and kept on a lead outdoors to keep them, other guests, and local wildlife safe. Please bring your own pet bedding, toys, and bowls.
