We were taking an early flight out of the Manchester airport and it’s only 2 miles away, so that was incredibly convenient as well. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! However, I do want to note that we were assigned to a handicap accessible room, which we did not need. That is not a problem, but I don't think it would be suitable for someone in a wheelchair. While the shower was a roll-in shower with a fold-away seat, the shower head which appeared to be hand-held and adjustable, was fixed in place. We had a hard time getting a decent shower because of that and...

"Everything was great except the pool. It was kind of grimy looking. But that isn't something that is a necessity for us. The room was spacious with plenty of desk space for us to work remotely. The kitchenette had the necessary pots/pans/etc to make some basic dinners. We stayed a week while visiting kids/grandkids near by. It was perfect for us and I suspect we will be booking it again."

"As soon as I walked in the room smelled stale. The bathroom was full of mold and paint was damaged everywhere. The towels were very old and damaged. The sleeping area was not much better. The bed covers smelled old and had a couple of bugs on it. The wallpaper was coming off the wall. Overall I will never stay at a Fairfield hotel again."
